  2. I don't understand why u don't bet the flop, why check call? As played, I would prob call. prob has an Ace imo.

  3. ^^^^^^^^^^

    please Cbet this flop...

as played obv u have to call turn.

  4. I will explain in more detail later, but for a short explanation:

This flop is very safe for me, unless someone got AA, QQ, AQ, 44.
So probably I won't get much action from weaker hands, but could lose a lot of chips to those that beat me.

By checking the flop I can keep the pot small in case someone has AQ or better, and I also can induce some bluffs (or value bets) by hands that I easily beat.
Especially in the beginning of a tourney there are always some players who try stupid bluffs.

Finally, checking also mixes up my game and makes me harder to read. So other players cannot be sure whether I hit or missed when I check the flop.

  5. what hands does he have to call you with on pre-flop raise?? then does he betting relate to that range?

    YES - Fold

    NO- Call
  6. problem is you didnt CBet flop so you are now going in blind...does he have KQs, does he have KJs (my logical choice)...but without information from betting you are going in blind...imo...if you CBet and he calls...his hands would have to be 44, AQ (unlikely with AQ and now anothe Q on turn) KQ AJs...

im calling and hoping i dont see a 10......
  7. Jason,
