Now, I've played this tourney and previous 40 and 50 dollar tourneys on Bodog. I know the play on Bodog is soft, but this...people value-betting with a straight on a 4 heart board, guys calling 20bb with 78 20 minutes into the tourney after 2 people shove all-in in front of them, etc. I mean, did I miss something? Since when did this tourney become this soft?

standard.

^^^^^^^^
unless you get a bad table draw with almost all good players.
-You think that is soft? try the 5k ($10) at 910pm. No excuse short of a cooler to ever miss the money in that thing.
It's so loose I decided to get frisky for fun in it tonight. While my initial bluff/steal is really stupid, what followed after on the river is even worse...I'm still laughing about it 3 hours later.
I came to a new table and was in the BB when it folded around to the SB. Blinds 50/100 we are both well above avg stacks.
SB raises to 200
I decide it's time to have some fun and create a donkish image with a silly play and show. I have 2c 7h and make it 500 more to go looking for a fold so I can show. BB calls though.
Flop comes 7c 3h 7s (hahah lucky day!)
check check
Turn 8h
SB bets 100
I raise to 500
SB calls 400
River 6h
SB pots it for 2600, leaving 80 behind.
I shove and SB calls the remainder
SB shows 10h Qd. Shoved absolute air.
27 FTW.
And oddly, not a single wisecrack about wtf was I doing re-raising with 27.
