  1. So Im playing Halo3 at my friends house when I get a call from my ole roommate, and she tells me that her new bf who I just met the other day wants to ask me something. Im like, ok?... whatever. So he gets on the phone and asks me if I could recomend him a pokersite to play on(when we met the other day I mentiond how my friends and i enjoy playing online, and he's goes on about how he loves poker, playd alot back in the day, and so forth).

Anyway, I decide to recomend him Bodog because its so easy to get your money on there, super quick payouts, and good tournies for a low-mid stakes grinder tp play. I told him this, and he was very excited and said how he was gonna start playing immed and how he was about to bank it in, i wishd him gl.

About an hour later, he calls me back and tells me he is having trouble reging for this tourney. This is the tilting convo that proceeds. Its around 8pm.

J: "So, Im trying to register in this 15 doller plus 1, 2k guaranteed, no limit holdem, multitable tournament, starting at 7:40, and its not letting me."

Me: Just to make sure he isnt retarded "Did you deposit money already?"

J: "Yes I did. I used my credit card, and Im trying to register in this 15 doller plus 1, 2k guaranteed, no limit holdem, multitable tournament, start time is 7:40, and like i said, it wont let me."

So I pull up the bodog client on my comp to see what hes seeing. My comp has "show registering" selected.

Me: "dude, I dont see this 2k, but there's this $10 3k starting at 9:10, you should just play that."

J: " hmmm, srry but i cant find that one. You see, what im looking at is this 15 dollar plus 1, 2k guaranteed, no limit holdem multitable tournament, start time is 7:40, and Im clicking on it and nothing is happening."

I then look down at my comp and notice its 8:20.

Me: "Yo, its already 8:20. You cant reg in a tourney 30 min after it starts on bodog."

J: "Oh shit, fuk. I keep on trying to remember to change the time on my comp, but i never do."

Me: " Thats cool. Like i said tho, theres this 10$ 3k starting in less then an hour now, its a good tourney, you should play it"

J:" Thanks man, I def will. I appreciate the help"

Me:"Its cool, take it easy" I hangup. 5min goes by. My phone rings.

J:" Ya, it me again. I cant seem to find this 3k." I bring the bodog client back up.

Me: "Um, dude, it right there. If you hit the "show reg " button, it will be the tourney on the top."

J: "Dont see that option....hmmm... ok i think i found that 3k. It says 10 dollars plus 1, 3k guaranteed, no limit holdem multitable tournament"

    Me: "thatd be the one"

J: "I wont let me register, im double clicking on it like crazy, and nothing happens"

Me: "There should be a tourney details box on the right. There is a register button on the bottom of that box. Try clicking on that."

    J: "What? What box"

Me: "You dont see a tournament details box?"

J: "No" I then proceed to stab myself repeadetly in the head. but then...

Me: "You did download the poker client right?"

J: "Poker client? Well no. Im on here, on their website. It has all their no limit holem multitable tournament listed right here"

Me: "You need to download the client dude. Thats just a list."

J: "lol, well I feel stupid...I think I got it now. Thanks again man. When i hit it big, I'll throw some your way"

Me: "its all good, dont worry about it. Glad to help"

So that whole convo took like 20 min, it felt like even longer. I had a neg k/d in both the matchs I played. fml.

So 2 weeks go by, and he calls me, telling me how bodog has been charging him all of these fraudulent chrages totaling up to $400, and how it fuked up, and he asks me if he should go report to his bank that this poker site has been stealing money from him, and to see if the bank will reemburse him. I first apoligize, tell him how ive never hears on bodog doing this, how my freinds and I have never had any trouble w/ them. Then I tell him obv, you do not want to go to your bank w/ this, cuz of legality issuses, and lol at getting your money back from the bank. I then tell him how bodog has pretty good CS, and how it mustve been a misunderstanding, and that they should clear shit up for ya.

So I proceed to feel really bad for the guy. I recomened a site to this guy that for whatever reason stole $400 from him.

A few days go by and I call my exroommate to see if how things went. Well she starts craking up. Apparently, because Bodog doesnt process deposits the day of, when J saw his bank statement, he freaked out and immed thought they were fraudulent. And he thought "no way did I spend that much money in two weeks". Well, she said, obv he did, and didnt realize it, and was already considering self excluding himself.

    *Cliffnotes*

-My exroomate dates a tard that is a degenerate fishmonkey, who likes using the phrase "no limit holdem multi table tournaments"

    -I suck at telling stories

+1, good story ... usually i dont read long, stupid shit in PD, but this time I am happy that I did.
  10. This guy sounds like a tard, maybe i need to start playing on bodog again
  11. Make sure he tells all his friends to try online poker.
  12. lol!!!! funny stuff

My first time playing online poker was back in late 2006, I dropped about 10 $20 deposits in like three days on Bodog, without even knowing which hands beat others, that it was standard to raise 3x the big blind etc. It was definitely fun, and a learning experience.

I kinda sound like this guy without the technical stupidity.
