Cmon this is a Bodog sponsored site can't SOMEONE answer this? IF not can you direct WHO to e mail from Bodog?

The resizing is a huge upgrade...and people have reported on this site that you will be able to play > 3 tables at some point when they are comfortable flipping the switch on in the new software. Chat screen is pretty much gone....and new tourney windows don't automatically pop up (glitch), but other than that i'm not sure whats to hate about the new software.

Looks like the Beta version has become the official version. My links to the Beta version are gone.

Well I don't have a choice now. I just liked the old format with the scrolling chat & the stats to my right & the 2 other tables on my left. Just flipped between them. I thought was was super cool man. Now it just seems like every other site like FT or BS.

imo the new software provides a single advantage. Resizable tables. It does not, however, fix any of the preexisting problems.

I know you play 3 tables and put in a lot of volumn like I do. How do you keep from going on lifetilt? Chatting is nearly impossible while 3 tabling, as is typing in bet amounts. The lobby constantly refreshes(resorts) while viewing it. And there are lots of other little glitchy problems. How do you cope?

putting this info in a seperate window is the opposite of improvement. Now instead of three tables open, I have three tables plus three tournament progress windows plus three chat windows. (there is the chat embedded in the game window, but it shows basically one sentance of chat at a time.)

Add third party software and you have a logistical nightmare.

Personally, I love the new software (for 2 months or so now), you will very quickly get used to it and begin to love it soon after! Resizing the optional (chat windows and such could be an improvement).

Now just allow a higher max table limit and Bodog easily ranks #1 on my list.

I run a two monitors, a 28" and a 19". If you only single or double table, it is prob much less of an issue.

I use holdem indicator it is designed for cash games. If you play MTT's, you prob want tournament indicator. It has a few minor differences that make it more suited to tournament play, an "M" indicator for instance.

I looked at both sites, it appears they are the same SW. You can use it for free in play money games. For real money you will have to pay, or acquire the license through one of there affiliate options.

I asked this of Eddie, I will ask it of you. How do you avoid lifetilt while using the software (old or new version)? everytime a card is dealt, that window is brought to front, this makes chatting or entering a bet amount almost imposs wil 3 tabling. Seriously, both the old and new SW have so many glitches like that it is allmost unbearable.

Funny related story: I put in a request to fix that....after I got knocked out of the 100k last night David Williams appeared at the table and he was responding to chat. Someone asked him about where he got his bling that he wore on PAD or HSP. He responded Jacob the Jeweler. Only it came out Jacob the ***eler because I guess you can't say jew.

A couple of us said to him- that's weird wtf with the censoring. He tried typing a couple words and was like "yeah, that's weird". My response of "get the programmers updating the software not spending time chat censoring!" got a lol.

So I said, "David, while they are at it, couldn't we get a stat that shows what position we're at in the tourney? Every other site does it." His response.."Yeah... that'd be nice."

So I left it with telling him that if he thought the stuff could be improved, the chat and stat and whatever ideas would get alot more response if he'd pass them on then if we did.

Hopefully he passes them on.

I e mailed them & they got back to me. No can do. We're stuck with the new software. Man I remember seeing an ad in BLUFF with the old software when it was new & thinking that was so cool. So much for that.

I've got mixed emotions about that... but, a suggestion if it helps, I line up all 3 progress windows in a vertical column to save space. Seems to help me. Though if you could resize the progress windows so they were legible like you could with the chat window I'd LOVE that. I'm 20/15 and that's a small font even for me.

Also, what up with the glitch where it gives you the next level time, but not the level itself? Or gives you the blinds but not the ante amount (either current or prior level?)

Finally- got this from Bodog support when bitching about lag and auto-fold for an explanation: (Moderately techie description)

I was saying that the auto-fold button wouldn't work right, I could unclick it and it would still auto-fold. The answer was that the button worked just fine. The problem was that the datastream was lagging behind what my pc was displaying. Basically even though auto fold was now OFF my screen would flash it so fast I couldn't play it since it was "behind." (They blamed internet packet bouncing or server connections etc....which only made half sense to me since one game would be fine and another wouldn't when both DC'd at the same time.)

TO return to the story, they said when this happens, leave the tourney and return which should fix it, or quickly leave the dog and return. Generally leaving the tourney game window by closing it and re-opening did solve the issue, but I still have to think it's an issue for them to resolve. To say that tourney one is routing the world via one set of linkages and doesn't lag but tourney two is going another way in that moment and that must be the problem sounds somewhat plausible to a quasi-techie, but at the same time non-sensical or at least solvable.
