Bodog wsop seat win - must play?

    The lobby of tournament says winners must attend the live event but on winning was surprised to recieve 12k T$ in my account immediately.

    Does anyone know:

    a) do we have to play the event as a bodog player
    b) if we do play do we book our own hotel?

    Apologies in advance if this has been asked and answered before but an hour of searching here, 2+2 and with google failed to enlighten me so I was hoping someone here had already won a package through bodog and knows what is going on.

    call them 1-866-909-2237. Best in the biz about answering questions quickly. And the answer will be right compared to what you MIGHT get here

    as far as i know a 3rd party cant buy you into any wsop events so i'm not sure how this will work.

    you have to play the main event as a team bodog player rep.

    Yeah, I'd def go play a shitload of tournies to get under the 12k T$
    Would never represent bodog either...
    Thats just my opinion tho, so....

    PLEASE NOTE: If the winner(s) of any Main Event or WSOP* Semifinal choose(s) not to attend a live event as a member of Team Bodog, the player(s) will receive their share of the contributed prize pool of the semifinal in the form of an "ecash" deposit.

    The website says we can take cash. The lobby says we have to play. Upon winning the seat they deposit t$ into your account. 3 very different things and exactly why im trying to find someone who has won a bodog seat before.

    You can take cash for your share of "the contributed prize pool" which means if you don't play in the WSOP, you don't get any overlay amount that Bodog added into the the satty you won.

    They will likely give you the option of playing in the M.E. or playing in other events that add up to $10k, or taking the non-overlay cash option I already described.
