That's right, there is a man playing in the womans event and he is the chip leader. How this is even allowed is beyond me. Whats next, 21 year-olds in the senior event (although it was only 40 at the Summer Open). What are your thoughts on this. Let the fun begin!

All I can say is if I see him tomorrow I'm slugging him in the gut. What a disgrace to the game. Just because his vagina itched a little, doesn't give him the right to enter a woman's event, even if you can't legally turn him away. And c'mon Borgata, you are the class of AC, this puts you right up there with the Taj on the slimyness scale, grow a set and do something about this. I think all the chicks who got knocked out should gang up and beat the crap out of him later tonight. There are some tough broads in AC who could put a hurtin' on him, for sure!
-
Maybe he was trying to pick up.

Actually, if women want to be treated equally in society they shouldn't have social events that are limited to only them. It only enforces the thought that females are inferior to men and thus need their own events in order to be on equal playing ground.

this is such a joke i dont even know how to describe it
-
There are some men who play the ladies event and pledge to give 1/2 there profits to breast cancer, which I think is fair enough
-
Well they are inferior.

The Article linked in the OP says that the guy said he was going to donate any money he wins in it to charity. Don't know what people are so pissed at. GOOD FOR THIS GUY IMO!
also lol @ this from the article
Please Nancy Martin of Washington Crossings, find me a mens event. Any mens event. For some reason I have never ever seen one advertised or offered ANYWHERE. Fking idiots -
Agree with this. It's a good way to go about it IMO. You get coverage of the guy who is drawing attention to a worthy cause. Good for him, really. (assuming if he wins, he goes through with this)

"They only play a few hands heads-up, when Abraham Korotki eliminates the last remaining woman, Nicole Rowe to win the Ladies Championship.
Rowe bets 200k preflop, Korotki raises to 600k. Rowe shoves all-in, which Korotki calls. Rowe tables (A 9) vs. Korotski's (10 10). The board is no help to Rowe and she's eliminated in second place.
"I wanted to win the title," says Rowe who earns $11,889 for second place. "I came in second already," referring to her finish in the Ladies event at the 2007 Borgata Winter Open. "I can't believe I lost a ladies event to a guy."
This finale was the last thing the ladies in the field wanted to see, but Korotki was respectful after 16 hours of play.
"It's always nice to win a tournament," says Korotki, who takes home $20,982. "The ladies played very well and it's always nice for the weaker sex to have a victory."
Korotki says he's going to split his winning's between three, yet determined charities. But the causes will focus on breast cancer research, children and animals."
