  1. Obviously I am new here. But I am a top plaintiffs attorney on the East coast and an extremely analytical thinker to a fault and here is my take on everything:

    1. If you see that JJ lied in his post to everyone about his story about buying a new computer and taking over for his grandma then you obviously know that he KNOWS it's wrong what he did.

    2. JJ claims he staked his grandmother and she built a decent stack, loves to play, etc.....

    3. If you go to http://www.tournamentreporter.com/to...107#ReportView you can clearly see his grandmother who "loves to play" has only entered 12 tournaments this year and all were at least $100 and she even played the $350. JJ happened to play everyone of these tournies also.

Typically older people who don't play for a living will stick to the $5 and $10 tournies even lower. My dad has plenty of money but is 69 and only plays smaller tournies while I am more apt to play bigger buyins. Mostly due to stamina and attention-span reasons. This isn't true for EVERY old person, but it is a fairly good stereotype.

I find it odd that he had to stake his grandmother in a 200 event, yet she only plays 100's and above.

No matter how you look at it, it is COMPLETELY a matter of CHEATING and nothing else if you enter a MTT with multiple accounts. Let's say you get seated at the same table. You're not gonna cheat? Bullshit. For some moronic reason a lot of players already admitted to using multiple accounts (ie LEGGGGGGY/ROCKYBOYYYYY) in the same tournaments. Ask any online site and they will agree.

So where are we? JJ obviously lied about staking his grandmother and that whole story is total bullshit. That really should end the entire conversation. Mantis feels bad for "outing" his friend and is defending him to no end. JJ entered under multiple accounts, has apparently just started to do this (the account was started in January (ablackcar)), and just won a lot of money and is probably very scared he will lose it.

I just find it very discouraging that these so-called top online pros will cheat in order to obtain a higher ranking. I think pocket 5's should take a stance and take any known multiple accounters off the top ranked list.
  2. People who played high stakes sng against JJ should be wondering if he did the same to them................We now have two highly ranked players who have been exposed.

  4. GG brilliant responses

  5. I sure the fuck would want you on the other side in a court case, cause the way you talk and your extremely analytical thinking shows in your 6th grade post you just wrote......I sure hope you dont think your fooling anyone by saying your a top plantiff's lawyer on the east coast....My 9 yr old niece can write a better structured and well thought out response.....gg bullshit artist.....
  6. I don't care what a muppet like you thinks. My point in posting my message was to sum it all up and to show once and for all that he is a cheater and that P5 should take him and other cheaters off of the ranked list.

You're a 24 year old muppet with no future.

  7. excellent first and second post your fucking loser.......keep creating new names to hide your identity your piece of shit.....and start another thread about a subject thats been beaten down enough already, your a worthless piece of shit.....
  8. If this was any small name player this would be a huge deal about how they did something wrong but because its a big name player its ok... That is bullshit either way its wrong... i mean do all big name players do this?? Is this how they always are at FT's and winning tourneys. I just lost respect for eveyone that does this. Yes i know JJ is an amazing tourney player but he also is a cheater
  9. I"m also new to pocket 5's. At least as far as posting is concerned. Newguy2006's analysis is really impressive. I don't know the player involved but obviously we have all had a lot to read about on the subject. I tend to think we should put as much pressure on the sites to take steps to prevent this type of thing.

Do I think this is the worst thing in the world? No, but I do think it is cheating and we are all harmed by it. Hopefully JJ if he did do this as it seems feels bad for more than just getting caught.

** I do think it is important that a community like pocket 5's needs to stand together and create a loud enough voice so the subject doesn't fall on deaf ears.

There is a ton of colluding in cash games that is difficult to weed out so lets at least try to keep the tournament world as clean as is possible.
  10. Thanks Knish. I was just posting to sum everything up and then i get attacked by a muppet.

I agree with you.... The online sites need to make changes and be strict. Personally I think they should withold JJ's money.

  11. ABlackCar was not mentioned in the weekend overview. There is no way this win will positively impact JJ's ranking.

  12. It's not the point. If someone cheats and gets caught they should be removed. Who knows what else they do. Maybe when he is at the same table with a friend they IM hands to each other.

Once a cheater always a cheater.

    Remove JJ from rankings.

  13. LMAO @ you being an attorney.
  14. if it was jj playing all those tournaments as blackcar dont u think he would have cashed in a few of them other than the one he just won
  15. "How do their peers (other tournament professionals/experts) view their playing ability?" This is one of the criterium for rankings. Gank has already said what he thought of JJ's discretion. How many more does it take to say that they view it as cheating?
  16. not necessarily. it was only about 10 of them. it is clearly not his grandmother.

  17. remove him from the rankings?

    please...

one account or twenty, grandma or not, he is still one of the 3 most talented poker players playing online today.

The kid is a total freak, and he lives up to his name of "prodigy."

no one has won more since august 1 than he has. no one.

I have been ON FIRE as of late and i've won about 1/3 of what he has...he is truly impressive.

    get off him.

  19. I just want to add that I think this issue has been beat to death, and everyone should move on, I know posting on it is antithetical to this, but i just thought it should be said. I doubt any of you would like to be judged solely on your indescretions, and I certainly think it is unfair to do that to Mr. JJ. The final result if this harassment continues will inevitably be to alienate Mr. JJ from participating on this site in the future, and I certainly think that would be a loss for the whole community. Regardless of how egregious you think his offense was I think it is safe to assume we all (that means you) have made mistakes in the past, and to be judged solely on those mistakes would be a completely poor assessment of your character, so why do it to Mr. JJ? No more posts from me on this subject, just thought it should be said.
  20. One of my better friends and man who introduced me to online poker is a retired man who has 100% pension meaning he gets 100% pay as if he were working full time even though he is retired. He makes around $160,000 a year sitting on his azz at home, but he plays only $10 and $20 sngs. He occasionally plays an aruba tourney, but thats it... he plays ALL the time, yet grandma plays every so often and plays as high as a $350 MTT? Cool?
  21. JohnnyBax has won more than him I think since summer.. bax wins everything.
  22. His skill does not matter here whatsoever. He could be the best player in the world, or the worst donkey. It doesn't cahneg the fact that what he did was wroong

  23. Mantis, you mentioned JJ is a good guy, who has helped you out. Which makes it easy to see why you are standing up for him. I can understand that, but you have to try to understand why people feel what he did is wrong. He is a great player, you are a great player, those two statements are a fact. What also is a fact, is that multiple accounts in the same tournament are wrong. And deep down inside, I believe everyone knows this.
  24. Great..... he has won a ton of money while cheating. Real hard.

  26. It is amazing to me the number of good players here that have defended (and thereby endorsed) cheating.

Any criticism of cheating and other shady practices seems to inevitably lead to charges of "hater," largely from the 20-somethings (sorry for the general characterization, but I believe it's fairly accurate in this case).

Where is your outrage? First, you have to deal with the possibility of collusion online -- now you're forced to deal with players playing multiple accounts in a tourney. You should be livid at the cheaters -- instead you look the other way, celebrate the win and the player's poker playing brilliance, and label those that demand a fair game as "haters." Gimme a break.
  27. Although it is obvious that what JJ did is wrong, it is also obvious that newguy 2006 is a player that is ranked under JJ and wants him removed for his own gain....
  28. Mantis,

Do you get lockjaw or does it come naturally?
  29. Tuffmonkey = a total donkey who is horrible, but does not enjoy licking balls.

JJProdigy = Great Player and a cheater

GBMantis = Has to keep licking JJ's balls because it was his initial post entitled "JJProdigy wins party 500K" which outed JJ in the first place.

Haters = Anyone who has an opinion which deviates from licking any ranked players balls.
