    I realize its not an on-line win, but I just had my second live large tourney win over the weekend and wanted to share the news.

    Last year in the California State Poker Championships, I made it deep but went out after 13 1/2 hours in the $335 H.O.R.S.E. tourney.

    This year they raised the buy-in to $545 and I took it down. Heads up I didn't realize who the other guy was, but my friends railing me did some research and found out it was a guy with two WSOP bracelets in razz and stud 8. Ironically those were the two games that saved me repeatedly throughout the tourney although I scooped some big pots in Omaha 8.

    Thanks to Jennifear for the razz lesson about a year and a half ago -- its my best game -- and to Robert "Chipburner" Turner who coached me in all aspects of H.O.R.S.E. I've been cashing frequently in the FTP $24 $4000 guarantee but never getting into the big moolah. This is a big confidence builder before the Series...

    Congrats Man. I was playin satts yesterday....Prob b down there again later today to try and satty in to the 1k or main events...

    Congrats again glad to see a P5er score at commerce.

    Did a chip chop when it was done to three and I was chip leader...$ 12,750...then played for the trophy which I won.
