I was not sure if this was the right call. I was hoping if he hit the flop, or had a better pocket pair, he wouldn't have snap pushed after the flop. JW what you guys do in a situation like this.
thanks

i am guessing non turbo huh well if this were a turbo i guess i skeet n win the flip...i doubt he is raise/folding here but...mayb we fold pf ehhh that can't b right. I really hate flatting with the intention of calling shove on a dry flop. what do we do on a Q8T flop???? Mayb there is n argument for folding n abusing the table cause it is the bubble the table stacks knida suck shove n get it in pf glglgl moe86

Your call is questionable...depends on the read, but his push is very questionable imo...like i said depends on how he's been playing
-
i only play turbo SNGs so this never happens late, as played, in a turbo SB would shove i would snapcall, not sure how to play it in a nonturbo, but since he opened, i would shove. but if he had been playing fairly tight and shoved i may fold, and continue to abuse the bubble

If it was me...when he raised I would of pushed all in...blind vs blind having a pocket pair is better than whatever he's raising...

shove pre

and no it was not a turbo

I get it in 100% of the time pre-flop when I'm 6-tabling turbos there. Firstly, you have POCKET FIVES. Secondly, even though I don't think villian can ever fold to your shove, he will occasionally find the fold button. Thirdly, I am definitely ready to flip here (when he's not drawing to only 3 outs after turning over A-4)
However, if I am the villain, I am pushing a wide range of hands into you and folding the rest. When he 3x raises, alarm bells go off. I feel he could show up with a strong hand(surprised to see a weirdly played A-T). I don't hate a fold, especially if you have a read on him.
I don't think you can ever flat there, you're not deep enough.
I think post flop is fine. If he did have a hand his push told you it was AK and he missed. Still sucks if the board pairs though and your pair is counterfeited. Stay out of that situation by either folding or shipping it pre-flop
