bubble of aussie sat: $3k bubble

    Ok I have a question. We are on the bubble of the sat to Aussie. 6 left. 5th takes $3200. 1st and 2nd gets the $18k prize package. I pickup JJ in the small blind and it is folded to me. Overwhelming chipleader is in the BB. I have about 12 BBs. BB is an aggressive player and I know that if i make a small raise he is shoving a range that I am way ahead of. Do I want to encourage the action here on a $3200 bubble or do I want to shve and just try to pick up the $2k in chips??

    Edit: 1st and 2nd get the package 3rd gets 8k and 4th gets around 5k

    no i didn't push. i made a small raise to 2400. he came over the top with a7o. ace on flop. gg me. I think as long as he's pushing a very wide range here it is better to make the small raise though. I think he is pushing very close to any 2 and I think I am going to be at least a 3 to 1 favorite almost every time. I suppose this could be done with an ICM I don't really know how to use ICM.

    I'm leaning towards pushing.

    If he has one over, he still has about a 30% chance to bust you.

    don't you think he calls a shove here with any ace and good kings. As the big stack I know I wouldn't be respecting my shove much, so most of the hands I'm getting to fold I don't want to fold. I could have him shoving with tons of hands that I am a 4 to 1 favorite.
