  1. Ok have been playing sng's for about a month now. i started off fine but just resently i am having a big problem. I will give you an example.

    Today i played 10 sngs's. I got 1st in one 2nd in one and 3rd in one, 4th in 4 and 5th or 6th in the others.

The ones that i did place in, i won a big pot, or a few, early on and it was pretty easy to make it into the money. 5th or 6th i just got out coin flipped. Im not concerned with those ones. The ones that are making me mad is the 4 4th place finishes. I have close to 10xbb usually 15xbb at this time. the blinds usually get to me and im usually picking spots with 6xbb to go all in and win a race with Ax. This is really frustrating cuz i am getting walked all over by the bigger stacks or even the stacks that are equal to mine.

Am i playing to tight? if so, what are calling, raising hands? Ax? K10? something in that range. What about stealing the blinds?

Any help on my play would be greatly appriciated
  2. You need to open up a little later on.

    Here's step-by-step instructions:

    - Get your hand histories for each of the seven games that you made the bubble

    - HoldemResources <<go here and look through each hand for each five-handed or less scenario. Input the stack sizes and see what each player should be shoving.

My guess is that you'll find that you need to open up, and by a lot.
  3. o wow, i just did one example and already found some new things out. Thanks so much for that
