yeh i mean i think a fold is best, you could jam and hope to get vlaue from hands like 910 and J9, or like 56ss. but i think fold is best. aswel as fold pre, and check/fold flop
-
I fold pre and hate the donk lead on the flop.
No need to get FPS against a $6 player here imo.
If you're willing to stack off trying to rep the Q I think you're better off c/c the flop and c/r the turn. Your line doesn't look very believable to me. -
THIS is what should have concerned you right away. Obviously some rage brewing at this table. Time to "sit out" a few hands and let him cool down to avoid a confrontation.
-
I went deep in this as well and played against most of the guys at your table later on. Everyone was playing pretty basic abc poker. if I were a betting man, I'd say the min raise on turn is telling you 100% he has Q. No idea why you'd call pre-flop raise out of position with J high if you weren't going to shove the flop.
Just seached and unfortunately we didn't play any hands together. -
Hey Champ!
Folding Pre is OK here as playing this hand out of position is tough HU..
Flop bet maybe should have been sized higher, but also a check (him bet) raise or a check (him bet) fold or a check him (check) on flop might be beter options.. If he check/checks the flop can maybe steal on turn.. As played, unless you think he was floating you on the flop, fold is best bet, if you seen him do this play before, can try to risk tourney life on this pot and go AI.. I probably fold here on turn as played though unless I know he can be floating the flop and stealing on turn.. -
If a $6 player is calling flopbet + minraising turnbet you are definately beat. Fold.
-
I know folding preflop would have been optimal. As played I cannot just see this player making a move on me in a spot like this. After talking to a few top players they seem to feel its an easy jam after he raises turn. I should have never put myself in such a bad spot in the first place I guess. Thanks for the responses guys and more would be appreciated.

i mean if u jam pre then he never gets the chance to raise the turn and you never end up in such a sticky spot. tbh he prob floated the flop just to bluffraise you off the turn bc he knows that hes reppin a really strong range.
