3r 180 man. Been playing pretty tight obv, this guy has been active but not redic and he hasn't shoved on my yet (new at table). Blinds are 1.5/3k in 2 minutes and we are 2 off bubble.
Thoughts? possible 60/40 it for CL or fold and wait for better spot?

he'd have to be shoving a pretty tight range for this to be a fold. if you think he's at all competent and capable of exerting any sort of pressue on the bubble then it's a call.
no info i'd call, have to have a reason to think his range is a lot better than A4 to fold. -
snap call unless u think he is a huge nit
EDIT: when i first read it i assumed it was just a regular 3r and thus the icm affect of it being on the bubble would be very little, with it being a 180 man icm prob has a bigger impact but i still feel like the payouts are still top heavy enough and there are still enough people left in it that this would still be a fairly easy call -
think its better to be the one shoving all in.
calling of ur chips with mediocre hands is always trouble. -
i have found recently people saying all the time "its better to do x or id rather be doing y" poker isnt about is there a better hypathetical situation, of course wed rather be shoving than calling with A4, of course wed rather shove from the button than AQ utg

our job isnt to find out if there are better possible situations we could be in, its to determine the best decision IN THIS SITUATION
not trying to be mean but i never understand when people say that, its one thing to say like in a HU situation id rather shove ATC next hand than to call this bc ur garenteed to have ATC next hand. ur not garenteed to have a button shove the next orbit or garenteed to have a bvb situation where u get to shove A4. so u have to just take what u can get.
this is the situation we r dealing with, lets just focus on it -
I close my eyes and call unless i'm certain he's a nit
-
I'm folding 9 times out of 10 without a read.
I just don't see why A4 is the hand to call with.
I'd rather call with 75 76 etc than a4.
Easy fold imho -
gotta be a level right?

in case it isnt i ran both hands against just the hands we are dominated by with A4o, which is the worst possible shoving range we can be up against

even against the worst possible range for our hand A4o is slightly better than 75, add any other hand into the range (which i cant imagine there not being in the slightest) and A4o obv dominates 75.
i dont know how u can even try to argue 75 is a better calling hand than A4, its not even a top 50% hand, how can a hand that is statistically worse than a random shove ever a good calling hand -
you would be absolutely insane to call with 75 and 76 here imho
-
Thanks for all the replies.
Such a range of opinions. Even know i folded I hated it.
edit: The reason A4 is a calling hand over than 76 is that well it is crushing all the random paint and suited connectors like 76 he might be shoving
