    I am comin down most likely for the 300 nl tourny on mon and 500 short handed nl tourny on tues, but was just curious about a few things from players that attended in previous years:

    1. How many players do these tournaments usually draw?

    2. Do you have to show up a certain amount of time early to register or can you register up until the start of each event?

    3. What are the best places to stay, either by price, convenience, or availability?

    4. 30 min levels starting with 2k in chips and 25-50; is this a decent enough structure to play or not really? this is the 300 tourny the 500 has 3k starting.

    Last time the $300 events had around 800 players give or take. Event 1 had 200+ alternates. You can sign up for the events up until they start. I suggest signing up very early to avoid the long lines and the alternate list. I can't help with hotels. I live 2 hours away so I drive. I know the Caesars hotel prices are a little steep. Louisville is 20 minutes away. As far as the struture, it should play like an online turbo event. No deepstacks here. Get your money in good and hope for the best.

    A few of my friends and I attend this circuit event annually. We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express in New Albany (about 15-20 minutes from the casino). Try priceline out. We got it for $70/night.

    30 min levels and 2k starting stack is about as bad as it gets. If $300 is no big deal then go ahead and try to get a stack early with some gambool... as noted above, there will be almost no play - even if you get a big stack you will have to get into a lot of confrontations with smaller stacks for a good portion of chips, as they will continually be looking to get it all in.

    I play a regular tourney with 3k starting and 20 min levels, and it is pretty bad - not sure if 10 min more will add a lot.
