Caeser's Mega Stacks/Venetian Deep Stacks Wishful Thinking Questions

    I am headed out to Vegas next week with family and will have some limited time to play. I wanted to play either the Venetian DS or Caeser's MS. I have a few questions:

    1. How many entries have these tournament series been getting?
    2. How many play the 2nd day?
    3. If all goes well, what time does play on the 2nd day start?
    4. Which do you recommend?

    1. at venetian 300's get about 700 while 500's get like 400...ceasars is a bit less for both
    2. all tournies are 2 or 3 days...i believe final table is second day
    3. play stars at like either 2 or 5 pm the second day, i forget
    4. Venetians>>>>>>>>Ceasars

    Day one ends at 2am and usually about 30-50 players make day 2. Day 2 resumes at 4pm and you play until the end. There is NO Day 3 for the $300-$1k buyins.

    Oh, and Venetian over Caesars ALL DAY!

    I am not sure about the details but I know I hear GREAT things about the Venetian live tourneys

    Just played the $340 buy in on the 12th. They had 544 runners. Unfortunately, I played until 11:30 and busted out in 68th. Very good tournament though. They had about 3 tables come back for day 2.

    Has anyone looked into or played the Deep Stack tournies they have going on daily at the Rio? I believe they are $175 buy in per day and look similar to the structure of the Venetian and Ceasars tournies.

    allllllll caesers megastacks are now 225. Venetian is better for noon. The 7pm tourney is better at caesers

    well to try and help out for the venetian 1600 deepstack that i fted last week(brag etc) It got 475 runners. I believe 85 made day 2. 45 were itm. Day 2 and 3 started at 4 pm local time which was annoying. We played til 2 am i think day 1 and til 3 am day 2. Day 3 started with 16 runners. 160k was for first. The structure was great and they have the 250/500 and 2500/5000 at venetian that the WSOP doesnt have.

    The $2100 on Thrusday should be great

    What if I preferred a structure more like a turbo 180? What would suggest I play in Vegas? (Serious question, going with my brother for the first few days and I am sure he be trying to get me to bust a deepstack.)
