1. Does the card room manager or other management surf PK5's like other sites do, and more importantly, communicate with this community in any way?

I really think there is a serious issue with software stability with this site. While using their site, the software crashes on me about once an hour or two. I have sent them numerous emails about this issue, each time they respond back with this laundry list of things they want me to do for them. I have provided them all the information and still nothing fixed. Then some time goes by and I recontact them, and they talk to me with the same laundry list of things they want me to do as if they are talking to me for the very first time about it. Each time they send me back an email with this inside it:

"Thanks in advance for your patience in this matter.

This issue seems to be affecting only a small proportion of our players given the fact that less than 30 have reported this happening including yourself.

However, we are currently investigating this in detail and working to provide a resolution to this in a future software update."

I don't know how they can continue to say that "less than 30 have reported this happening including yourself..." when there are threads all over this site and 2+2 about others having the same problems. This just completely blows my mind as a customer of their site how they can make a statement like this to me! I feel like this is completely being dishonest with folks and should not be tolerated.

The other reason I would like to know if they all do communicate with PK5's community is because I would like to start a thread on feedback (not a bashing), but feedback on things I think they could do to enhance the experience at Cake based off users feedback. I just feel like it is one of those sites that dictates what we all need rather than "listening" what would make it a better place for us and them in the long run.

I just started grinding on this site and have found out it is an awesome place for low level players to build a bankroll, and in fact, enjoying it more than Bodog now. However, when you multitabling and the software continues to crash on me for the amount of hours I put in, it is really affecting my overall performance in the long run. It seems to lock up on me at the absolute worst time and I can't even begin to tell you how many critical hands I lost out on because of this problem.

I am totally not trying to be a Cake hater. I like many things about it from what I have seen in the last couple of days. However, I have no idea how to get through to them about how serious of an issue it is.

Last...I have heard people talk about new card room manager, pros signing on, etc... How do I find out more information about what is happening with the site. Meaning, what direction they are going in, plans for the future, what to expect, etc...
2. I'm going to let our Cake reps know about this thread, so that they can respond if they would like to.

3. Im definitely one of the "less than 30" that have sent similar emails with similar problems and no solutions.
4. Thanks Adam!
I encourage all those others to please post if you have issues with instability with the software as well. It would be nice if we can get 30 people alone to speak up just from PK5's so they can't use this on people anymore and maybe start working jointly with us to get it fixed. I would be willing to donate my time to work with them on getting this fixed.

5. Happens to me too. Since I don't play on it too much I have not reported it.

Hi folks -

Yes, I'm here and am glad to discuss any issues regarding Cake Poker. In fact, I've started a new thread called "Official Cake Poker Feedback Thread" - y'all can post anything you want there. I do encourage you, before posting, to read this article. It will help keep a positive level of discourse.

As regards the specific concerns about the software client, we have those concerns too. We are working on a new client and it's one of my highest priorities. It's a ground-up redesign, so basically any old functionality/stability issues you've had before should be gone. Like any major piece of software, it will have its own bugs, but the architecture will be much stronger, and it will come standard with a bunch of nice features that we think we you'll really enjoy.

"When will it be in our hands?" I wish I could tell you that. But if I've learned anything from 25 years in the software / online poker business, it's not to pre-announce something that you're not ready to roll out. Of course, we have our own internal schedules, but that's why they're called "internal".

Anyway, I'll check in on a regular basis - I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Lee Jones
