Hello all,
I am looking to sign up and play on Cake Poker. I am unfortunate to not have rakeback on FTP and PS so I wanted to get another site going for variety and get rakeback. I do play a small amount on UB.
I would like any advice or feedback on Cake Poker. Is it a good site to play on? Should I go through Doyles Room that uses Cake Poker for better bonus? Is there anything I can do about rakeback on FTP or PS?
Thanks! -
Late Nite I play on one of the Cake skins also. If you plan to play tourney's late at nite there are not many players on. It seems that only DON's are popular late. Last night at about midnight there were only about 1200 players total. During the day about 2000 player's are on.

doyles is leaving the cake network by the end of the month ive read so cake is getting worse and worse. I would wait a few weeks before signing up for doyles to see what network they go to

I play on Cake all the time, and I would suggest signing up via Cake directly, rather than Doyles, as they are leaving the Cake Network.

The fields are very soft and if you play good solid poker you should make a good profit.
I recommend playing the Guarantee MTTS.
I deposited $100 about 10 months ago on there and quickly built that up to about $600 in the firts 2 months... it's been a slow ride since, but I'm up to about $1500.
The rakeback is a big factor, and so are the rakeback freerolls. There's a 5K rakeback freeroll every month that has less than 100 players and usually pays out the top 10 to 20 players, depending on the # of entries. 1st place wins usually around $1400. I cashed in 4th for $350 and 6th for $200. But that MTT has a bad structure and is a bit of a bingo fest.
I recommend playing the 1.5K guarantees every night at 8:30PM EST ($6.60 buy-in), there are a few others, but that's the best one to build ur BR with. Usually pays out top the top 15% or so. and it's a KO MTT with $2 for every KO. -
Their schedule is terribad but the site is so soft its unbelieveable. Both cash and tourneys are very profitable if you are break even +. Plus, they have RB which is awesome.

Sigh. You do have rakeback on pokerstars, trust me. Also Doyle's room is reportedly leaving cake fwiw.
