  1. OK, so this is only an 40 FPP Satellite tourney, but the winners are entered into the 4000 fpp event next Saturday. The top 3 in that one get WSOP me packages.

So after wading thru all the donks we're down to 11 out of 650, and top 6 get the seats. Here's the situation. The short stack shoves, and gets flatted by the big stack, so now there's about 40k in the pot. I only had about 40k left after the blinds. Should I call another 11k purely based on pot odds in this spot? I only have 10 BB's, but I'd be calling 11k into a pot that's already 40k, and I already have 4000 invested. If this wasn't a satellite tourney, I probably make this call without to much regret, since it's mathematically correct. But is it still correct here, based on my stack size, pot odds, etc...?

  2. I really don't see how you can call here.

Especially, since you are only trying to get top six, with your stack size in combination with it being bubble time, I think you'd be better off trying to push people around pre-flop to gain a better stack as opposed to calling to other people with a hand as weak as yours.
  3. Fold all excpet kk or aa since it is a satty
  4. Fold. anything you hit on the flop is marginal.

a jack is a fold, a duece is a fold, a flush is marginal, trip jacks are marginal. save 25% of you stack and wait for a better position to be moving all in first.
  5. I don't like calling here at all- in these spots I much prefer reraising all-in, though I think that can come to no good, either, with the one player already all-in, and the other who will surely call your reraise of 26K with any decent holding. Dump this piece of rubbish and get yourself a better situation, even though your M is barely 5. In a normal freezeout, you don't have anything, and in a sat, you'd be foolish to take a risk here, being so close.
  6. Fold, Fold, Fold, Fold, Fold, Fold, Fold, Hollywood Pause, Fold.
  7. In a sat, you have to fold. Remember, your goal isn't to win, it's to come in 6th or better. you have about 40k behind right now, just don't see why you'd want to put in 25% or more of your stack with this hand. Pot odds may be there, but you have to factor in ICM too, the chips in front of you have a lot more value than the ones in that pot (since the ones in front of you can win you a seat to the next tournament).
  8. fold in a satty but fold in a freezeout too plz you have fucking J2 and 10bbs fold all day
