  1. Here's the history... 33 left in the 100r 6max MET on FTP last night. I've been grinding a decent amount more online recently and have played with Pwn and Big Huni a little bit in last few weeks. I have been very active at this table, this is my third time opening in this spot for the third orbit in a row. Pwn has been playing aggressively as well and I imagine him being very capable/light 3betting the button here probably 40-50% of the time. It might not be that high, but it's high enough. Big Huni has recently been moved to the table and has been there for 5-6 orbits I believe. When Huni moved to the table I brought up the hand where he got his chips (100bb pot) 56 vs 69 all in on a 578 board and it came 6 5 just seconds before he was moved to my table. I acknowledged it was a sick hand and he agreed, etc. No berating or anything but it could be relevant. Then this spot comes up. What is your calling range here?

  2. Tough spot because its so absurd.....
    Probably not folding JJ, def not folding QQ....Prob shouldn't be folding AK either but I might dump it and never tell anyone.

  3. AK, TT+? I mean is he really jamming better than TT when he can 4-bet with at least the illusion of being light? If we sigh fold TT as the top of our range I don't hate it, but I'm def snap calling AK and JJ based on the info given.
  4. 10s+, AKo. pretty much what everyone else has said so far
  5. Def not folding TT, might call 99. He's 4-betting smaller to induce with like every bigger pair.
  6. Okay... just to spice this up... Why or why not should you call here?

  7. as soon as i saw that u made this thread i knew that this was gonna be this hand.

    i was watching your table when this hand took place, you def can't ever even consider folding AK here. i think you probably can profitably get in a very very wide range here vs huni...i mean something like 99+AJ+ prolly even would be ok.

    i'm not gonna say huni is insannnnnnne...but last time we played together he 5b/folded on more than 1 occasion...

  8. Yeah.. i mean you saw me basically snap it off... I was ready for a 4ball not a 4ball shove.. given dynamics and all. Didn't think I could ever fold. But after pokerstoving even a range of like any pair + all broadways I'm only 58/42 or something...

    Even this range is a lot wider and its..

    Hand 0: 61.320% 58.87% 02.45% 3266000892 135933936.00 { AKo }
    Hand 1: 38.680% 36.23% 02.45% 2009996196 135933936.00 { 22+, A6s+, K8s+, Q8s+, J8s+, T8s+, A7o+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }

  9. "only 58/42" ?? seems like a pretty F sweet edge. I don't think that stove really means much though because that's clearly not his range.

  10. huni=a10s, ajo+ and 99+

  11. yea i dont see any reason why huni can't have 22 - 88 here, would be a good spot to shove those hands...i see that huni didn't enter the time bank though, so it makes me think his range is a little stronger? still wouldn't fold 10s or AK though

  12. mostly not timebanking makes his range weaker, on avg, imo...

    Snap AK JJ+

    The rest gets closer imo.

    i agree
  14. yea i can dig that point as a general statement, given the nature of todays dynamic...as soon as someone opens you already know the 3 bet is coming from pwnasaurus as cr8ive stated in the OP, thats why you see the jymaster11s and the moorman1s cold 4 betting almost instantly...my calling range of 10s plus and AK doesnt really change

    Is this an April Fool's joke? Huni is like 100 times more likely to show up with 88 than AJo.
  16. Agreed with AK 10s+
  17. So none of you guys ever think about passing on a smaller edge with so many chips deep in a big tournament here? With only 2bbs committed and 61 behind? I'm just curious if maybe I should incorporate these thoughts into my logic at some point in life lol.

  18. yeah this is a realllllly easy call vs huni. and agree with said range of tt+ ak. sorry he had kk or w/e

  19. 88+ because I think he induces 99+....prop wouldn't fold AJ much
  20. really easy call vs him

  21. tt fold aqo fold. better googgo. gotta worry about pwnasaur too ya? cant call huni as light bc we we lose lots of chips on avg when pwn has it. huni is insane. no, no one folds ak here. but i dont think its that bad just dont tell anyone if ya did.
  22. wow u really folded ace king here to huni?
  23. No, I snap called. Results are irrelevant. Just wondering if people think calling there is correct, or if there is any merit to possibly folding AK when you have plenty of chips in a spot like this, etc...
