    guess he ranged you on Ac,Qc and only that lol, and didnt care how the chips got all in there. I really dont know what else to say except thanks for the reminder of why I dont play on stars anymore.

I wouldn’t- don’t think many people would either…. Looks bluffy like you are trying to buy the pot. Pre-flop the villain thinks he is ahead as you didn’t re-raise pre.[/SIZE]

    [SIZE=3]All in massive bet on the river makes it look even more bluffy. If you had trips you wouldn’t do that. If you had a straight you wouldn’t do that as your bet is trying to get him to fold … and villain thinks you don’t have high pocket pairs because you woulda re-raised pre-flop.[/SIZE]

    Negriins line looks exactly like what he has. He played it pretty poorly imo. If he thought you were full of shit he should have jammed turn. Guess he just did the standard "I started with AK, I'm not folding no matter what"

    Only thing I would have done differently is find a different opponent to bluff.

    I think Negriin accomplished exactly what he wanted in this hand. He was making bet amounts to induce bluffs and seems to have worked well.

    Saying this guy is just a station or "I started with AK, I'm not folding no matter what" is just wrong.

    Sometimes, vs the right opponents you can be creative and induce spazzing with hands like A hi, 5th-3rd pair etc. Sometimes the standard c/c bluff catch makes sense but in spots like this inducing your opponent to give you value can be really good.

    FWIW Negriin is a winning player
