I need help! My computer is not connecting to pokerstars or Full Tilt. I can get online with IE, but Mozilla can't get online. I tried downloading AVG, but AVG isn't connecting to the internet. Is this some kind of virus that is restricting access? Thursday is my poker night and time is ticking by. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's not just you,it's all of us. Obama outlawed online poker this morning...see what happens when you're not politicaly active? Next time you'll know better.

It's good to see everyone is in a shitty mood today.

C'mon, dude. You reboot? Uninstall/reinstall software? Whatever it is, it's definitely on your end.

I did reboot. I uninstalled and then reinstalled from both sites. I understand it's on my end. I'm not super savvy on a computer, so I came to the people that, I would've thought, have tons of experience in dealing with possible tech issues.

I'm no tech expert, but it sounds like either an OS issue or virus. I don't think it's software related because you said IE works, but Mozilla doesn't.
I'd run a Onecare scan and see what comes up, just understand it'll probably take awhile.
If you run XP = http://onecare.live.com/site/en-au/d....htm?mkt=en-au
If you run Vista/Win7 = http://onecare.live.com/site/en-au/center/whatsnew.htm
