I dont know, but it looks like by this article I can already see how AP is going to spin this.
im about done with cardplayer also, there are many facts that they have not printed. Including how AP tried to LIE and cover this up. -
agree 100%, cardplayer have dealt with this situation very poory, they have failed to remove any ap advertising, have only posted ap statements and have made no attempt to support the real victims here the online players.
To me it seems quite clear that CP only intrests are in their bottom line. This is where we should highly commend P5S for their bold stance in light of quite damning evidence.
P5S sets the standards and the almighty $$$ is 2nd to their members!
Card Player FU and your sit on the fence bs!!! -
"to the best of our knowledge, information, and belief"
This is gonna be repeated in any statement AP makes regarding this issue. Plausible deniability will be the crux of their defense. -
yeah, and no mention of the cash games, and they make it seem like AP wanted this investigation on their own. lol
im canceling my CP subcription. whats bluff have to say over this? guess im canceling that as well.
this is disgusting.
one thing we can all take out of this is what sites are for the players and what sites are for their bottom line.
this was all a big litmus test. -
I used to like CardPlayer, but screw them if they're going to not report the truth or pull any advertising. No one could have handled this better than P5s. Good work again...
-
They're article about pokerstars' WCOOP main event was weak as well - they pretty much released pokerstars' press release when there are many more details available to the public on this forum they chose not to disclose....
The problem is that every news outlet that reports on poker makes money off of poker sites....so they are always hindered by the fact that they are not a real news agency, but instead spin everything the best they can for their advertisers! -
I am not defending Card Player in anyway but until everything is proven it is not a good idea for them to any post speculation. I am sure once everything is drawn out more details will be made available on their website.
-
"Speculation" LOL
do you think we are speculating here....whatever -
'SPECULATING' what bs! the evidence was damning (sp) and they quite clearly avoided the subject to not upset there buisness partner! FU CARDPLAYER
-
Sounds like we need a P5s monthly print magazine...
-
I already said I didnt agree with the way card player handled their article and I agree they could of put a lot more or evidence in there but not everything is proven yet and that is all I was saying. Yes Absolute Poker lied and tried to hide the situation and before its all over with I see card player not being associated with them, but for now I think they are waiting for more to be revealed through the AUDIT.
I was just giving you the other side of the situation, thats all. I am in complete alignment with the community however. -
There were many "proven" pieces of evidence that card player did not include in their article. They are paid by the people they are writing news about.........that is why they slanted the article the way they did. Your point is invalid and incorrect.

how can the main stream media pick this story up, but all the poker magazines ignore it???
-
I was thinking the same thing, but there was finally an article about this on www.pokernews.com this morning.
-
If you say so.
