  1. live 1/2 Nlh game Friday at the Casino here in town, I had Q Q and a 40 Dollar raise followed by a 80 all in, I almost called but I put one guy on KK and was not sure what the other guy had , So I folded QQ and the flop came A A Q they both showed KK and J A

The turn and river where garbage giving the guy with aj the pot. I think in the long run I folded Correctly What do you think?

Should I have Called for the flop and then reraise or fold on the flop or was my fold good becuase i new i was beat pre flop with the guy with KK
  2. QQ vs KK vs AJ = QQ wins less than 1 out of 5 times. It wouldn't have to be a very long run to figure out folding is the correct move.
  3. Last week in my second time ever playing a 1/2 cash game in a casino, I laid down QQ preflop. Im a pretty weak player, and Im not used to betting real money like that, but it turned out to be an amazing lay down.
The guy was either UTG or second to act, and he raised a decent amount, above the average rasie. I had not seen this guy raise yet, and I looked down at QQ and my instincts were just going crazy saying he had KK. The other reason I laid it down, I dont know if this makes sense or not: I had this feeling that I wanted to be in control of the hand if I had a big hand like QQ since I had been folding and folding and folding up to that point. I felt that this guy raising preflop and having the chance to act before me postflop, he was in control and I would be facing tough decisions on the flop, turn, and river with a strong but beatable hand. So I laid it down. Someone else called and at showdown the guy had KK. I was happy.
