who cares.....stripper post now.....

This was covered recently in the big thread AK87 started...

But, I like tournament players more, respect them more, follow their game more, want to be more like them, and have 10x more fun playing tournaments. I feel this way despite knowing that there is more money in cash games, that the highest stakes cash game players in the world are indeed the best players, that it requires more knowledge to play (at the highest levels), and so on.
I think people should remember that the poker boom wouldn't have happened without tournaments. Tournament style lovers will go in and out of cash games, and cash game players should be happy to take their money instead of whining about which game/players gets more notoriety. In fact the best online cash game players AREN'T whining about the notoriety that tournament players get because they already know that tournaments attract fish, and eventually fish show up at the cash game tables, and donate. -
trust me i never mind when a big tourny comes through someone bust out of a big torny and sits down at my 15/30-30/60 game and donks off chips
-
U cant consider tourney donks who are taught to push sooooted connectors when shortstacked real poker players. But hey if you play 3290439 tourneys a day ur 35% favorite will get you recognition once in awhile.
-
What are cash game players better than tournament players at? Cash games - obviously because they are cash game players. Are cash game players better than tournament players at tournaments? No. They are different games! Its like saying cash game players are better than golfers.
Also the quote about 80% skill 20% luck or whatever doesnt make sense because there is no time frame or anything. Over 100,000 tournaments the best tournament players wont be decided 80% on luck and over 10 hands in a cash game, the best player will not be the biggest winner 80% of the time. Luck doesnt exist in the long run and this quote doesnt make sense unless you add some sort of time frame. -
What is your opinion on "Lifer Strippers" vs. "Putting Myself Through College Strippers"?
-
So, I guess the point of this thread is to let everyone know you are part of the better players?
Who freakin cares? Play what you like the best and leave your ego in the lobby.
Cash game players are so jealous of the attention the tourney players get it's funny.
Cash games and tourneys are two separate things just like playing sand volleyball and indoor volleyball. They are not the same game so why compare them? -
i dont care about tv time. I'm here for the money man. And its not about ego. I just tossed it out there to see how you felt about his comments
-
lifers are gonna end up ugly and alone
college are gonna be trophy wives :) -
I usually prefer the "putting myself through college" ones...they're generally younger, hotter, and more likely to go home with you after a fraternity party
-
Anyone notice he just made a volleyball analogy? Hmmmmmmmmm................
-
Its true I'm very jealous of the tourney donks. I want my name at the top of a list. I'm fat and ugly and if I cant pull any tail I just want people to know that I'm better at poker than you are.
-
well when it comes to strippers They are all g000t imo
-
Lifer stippers are more prone to accidentally squirting milk out of their tit(easiest way to spot them since they are supporting their children) compared to college strippers who are usually more well kept and more "by the book" with their private dances. If you are looking to get your "extra attention" you must take the dive and go with a lifer.
-
although the strippers that are "just putting themselves thru college" tend to look better and are more willing to "experiment" if you know what im talking about
-
I'm a winning small-stakes cash player that likes to try tourneys, but can't seem to hit a decent score. Check Sharkscope and OPR, I STINK at tourneys.
I don't know if one is better than the other... As was said before, there's different strategies to each game. Some people just have a strategy/mentality that is better sooted (pun intended) for one or the other. I would say that the better players CAN do well at both... Chip Reese is a prime example. -
I used to work in strip clubs and I strictly dated the ones thta were putting themselves through school or were working moms. The other ones tend to be too goofy
-
jeri i disagree. In my experence and believe me it is quite extensive for my age. The college strippers are very willing to "go the extra mile" for the right price. Also i maybe bias as i usually tend to go for the younger strippers.
-
my issue is one of motivation
the Lifer Stripper is in it for the long haul. She understands that she has bills to pay every month and every customer is important. She also obviously has the committment and experience to go the extra mile when needed.
The College Stripper is just in it for the quick buck. Sure, she may have been the hottest chick in her trailer park, but does she really want to make the customer happy? Is she going to be there for you after finals?
I want quality, not quantity. -
Really though even a bad stripper is better than no stripper
-
and you know she puts out
-
time to PM claygongora for details?
