Who in here plays on Cake and how long do that take to cash out?
-
i used to play on cake, but rarely do simply because of cashout issues, took over a month last time, not sure if they resolved check issues
-
Cake has the WORST cash out procedure out of any site I have played on. The require about 4 different forms of ID, utility bills etc and then when you do get it approved, takes weeks to send a cheque!
-
I had a check from there bounce back in June after going through everything to get a new "good" check ive been waiting sense Sept 18th
-
Like they said, id verification, then $35 fee w/ $9k cap, then takes about 20 days currently.... then some banks charge extra fees to cash them for whatever reason ($90 at Chase)... I haven't had any bounce yet tho.. only bright side.
-
i dont know if its different for me because i live in canada but every cashout i have done goes thru on friday and shows up fedex 4 days later on tuesday. have never had a problem with check bouncing or anything. I think cake is the best i've seen for getting paid.
-
It does make a difference...canada doesn't have douches trying to make poker illegal, hence its not a problem when you want to make a withdrawel
-
yah... sucks to be south of the border
-
I've heard they do wire transfers, I wouldn't know, but that's what I've heard fwiw
-
30 dollar fee, and they use a third party for the transfer. Pretty sure anybody can get an account. I have one and it took 4 days to get my money. Have had no problems with this site at all.
-
30 days max wait.....for checks, I can bare with that.....TRY bodog 40days.....DAMN!
-
No idea what theese people are talking about. I live in the U.S. and cashed out many times via check and have never had a problem. Takes about 2-4 weeks which is pretty standard nowadays.
-
Every SINGLE check I request from stars has come in under 7 days and does NOT bounce.

use this site called pokerswap.com its headed by adam gefvert, i swapped 800 off cake into my poker stars account for a 56 dollar fee, instant transactions after you verify your account, A+

Makes a big difference since the checks originate in Canada, seems like the danger of them bouncing is quite low.. maybe not as good as stars/ftp but still a real small percentage.

The issue is really just fees/time to deliver/time to clear. The 'wire' option they have has some small limits from what I understand and is only available by invite given criteria they won't release.
2+2 trades are going @ 5-8% depending on what site you transfer too, which is rough but best option if you are pressed for time I think. -
ok so this ^^^^^^^ site there is a transfer site? for funds ?
-
It took about a month to get my check since the day I processed it. Which isnt too bad. However, I dont know if my check will bounce. We'll see
