Who bets here and who checks? Been rather agressive at this table so was more inclined to lead with the nuts here but at the same time felt like it was a mistake, esp on a rainbow board like this.
  2. totally player dependant id say, any reads on the villain? like does he float a lot then try steal on turn/river etc?

without reads id go ahead and bet $5-$6 here, big enough to not scare him away, no point tryin to get too tricky at the micro stakes.

    hope this helps :)

Forgot to mention I have a player note on him that says he will play back at me in a lot of situations.

  4. def lead turn for like 4.25ish, a check looks to strong plus you wanna commit his stack enough so you can get a big bet in river.
  5. The pot is $10.50, he's got $14.65 left in his stack, and you've got the nuts. Your goal at this point should be to bet an amount that will commit him to your river shove.

I say bet around $4.50-$6 then shove any river card. If he has any piece of that board (and his call on the flop indicates he does) he's going to call. There aren't any hands in his range, except for maybe AT, that call on that flop then fold that turn. Everything else is either a pair and straight draw (which is no good), two pair (drawing very slim), a set (you're still way ahead) or a made straight (which you beat or split with).

There is a time and place for inducing a bluff by checking the turn, but given the stack sizes, the board texture, and the betting that's already occurred, this isn't it. You'd just lose out on value.
  6. Agree with what's already been said above. Slamming on the breaks and checking the turn would be setting off warning sirens. Villain seems interested enough already with his flop call. Valuetown the turn to price him in for most of his chips on the river.
