  1. Like most, when i first started playing poker, my only considerable edge was in SNG since they are very str8 forward and, at low stakes, very easy. But, as my cash game has improved to the more profitable portion of my game, my SNG game has gone to shit. If i focused, i can be more patient but overall has anyone else experienced this? I know what the right plays are but go against them.

    hmmmmmmmm
  3. Its really wierd, I dont get it myself, but its the truth. I play my SNGs like cash games but i play my MTTs just fine. Does anyone else experience this? Has one portion of ur game hurt another?

  4. i understand what you mean....i still havent resolved the problem, i just try to stay away from SNGs and just play Mtts
  5. Ive played in many UB MTTs with you for about a month till the AP thing then i pulled my money from there. That and losing 11 hands of BJ in a row the day i was pulling the money out got me fired up. Im prolly going to go back cuz im a slave to easy money. Damn will power is so weak.

  6. Not really from my point of view. I have never had a problem with this.

Getting into the right frame of mind is important. Playing really LAG in a 6 max cash game and then jumping into a SNG and being unable to stop yourself lagging it up is obviously just a mentality problem rather than fundamental problem if you know how to play SNG's profitably. Do you have a CR or PXF subscription? Maybe if you watched a cash game video before each cash session and a SNG video before each SNG session this might help you?
  7. Honestly, thats great advice. Cuz it really is a mental thing. I do have patience problems while i play. I will have a HU PLO SNG, 9 handed NLHE SNG, 2 6max NLHE, 2- short handed PLO Cash, a MTT or 2 and maybe something random too. I know its all a matter of spreading myself thin but the SNG and MTTs dont affect my Cash really but the vice versa seems to.

  8. Add tables. Instead of 'laggin it up' to fight boredom just add more tables. It will force you to concentrate a little more and instead of entertaining yourself by making moves you know you shouldn't you will instead be challenged by the need to make quicker decisions.

I had the same issue and it seems to be working for me.
