Casinos in southern Indiana

    I'm going to be heading to Cincinatti for a few weeks for work (Covington actually) and just wanted to get a feel for the nearby casinos. How's the action at the Hollywood? Are there decent games during the week? Is it worthwhile to drive to the Horseshoe southern Indiana on the weekends? I play 1-2 at Horseshoe Hammond, and I'll be looking to play quite a bit while I'm there, since I'll have a bunch of free time and the wife isn't coming along. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Good timing, the WPT is coming to the Hollywood April 9-13th with a TV final table. They have a handful of prelim events starting on March 24th, too. The action at the cash tables should be extra juicy.

    Hollywood is really nice casino. should be the 2nd year the WPT is in town. The chairs are really nice and the table is nice too. the dealers seem to be above avg. they have nightly tourneys and cash games from 1/2 up to 5/10. they offer NLHE, LHE, all varieties of Omaha, and a Horse game. the play is weak tight. they got waitresses that will bring ur drink to you at the table and free water and soda pop.

    horseshoe southern indiana (elizabeth) is a SHITHOLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and not worthy of any pokerplayers time IMO, the only thing good about it is that its the softest WSOPC stop of the year, other than that its pointless, heard the casino outside cinn. is the nutz and hammond is pretty nice other than the shittown its in. i would spend alot of time at the wtp at hollywood, i thnk, while your there

    There are casinos that charge for water and soda? Holy shit that sucks.
