  1. The WSOPC is coming up soon and my carrier (T-Mobile) has no signal at this place, so I'm probably going to need to get a prepaid cell to stay in contact with the outside world. Does anyone know which carriers work there?
  2. Not trying to sound like a dick but do you really need cell phone reception while you are playing. Ultimate no distractions right there. Its amazing how lost the world is without their phone for a while. Did you try calling the casino? They might actually know the answer to your question.
  3. i read the title and thought that some players were using ringtones to communicate what hands they had!!

now theres an idea. j/k obv

Dick comment imo. But yea, I do need reception while I'm playing. Playing live takes a loooong time and I need to be reachable in case of emergency or other import matters. Also, trying to find other people at a casino without a phone is a nightmare...

last year the opening event (350) had like 1400 runners

and i remember my phone working last year...AT&T
  7. Ya its somewhere around that number, I know it set the record for the biggest circuit event ever, but it was pretty hectic and ran poorly but then it was the only event I played last year. They had alternates taking seats till 4pm so I would advise registering a day or so in advance.

I'm prolly going to play at least 3-4 this year, Im sure theres going to be a ton of P5ers there too.

Verizon phones work anywhere on the Casino floor, but any other carrier is spotty at best. You will be allowed to walk outside on Deck 1 and you will get reception there.

sorry for being a dick then, just my personal opinion of everyone's sad need to be constantly connected. And the second part of my comment was also true as stated below
