  1. About a month ago I started a thread trying to locate local players to get together with to discuss poker to improve our game. There were many responses and a lot of interest. One response was from Chipless Wonder, an excellent player from Westerville. He turned me on to a site, which I believe he created. www.badbeatspoker.net. This forum is jam packed with local players that are both profitable and willing to help each other out. So instead of trying to organize and lead a crusade to form a local game, I recommend that all local players sign up there. There is no cost, but tons of valuable information, and no haters (unlike other popular poker forums). After you sign up, drop me a line to say hello.

  4. i think i joined that site maybe a yr ago? i forget the name or email i used, but i may look back into it as i never did anything after joining. as for as a local game is concerned, sometime this yr i'll likely be moving to columbus and would be very interested.

I've also thought a local poker club would be interesting, something where people got together like once a month to discuss poker, especialy on how to improve. After all the discusions were over, if a poker game broke out, even better.
  5. nope, wasnt the site i joined. d'oh
