This network has single handedly destroyed the reputation of this game that i love and im frankly sick of it. With this latest scandal at cereus we need to take a cereus look at the situation and realize what damage these two sites have caused to OUR game. The judge in kentucky is smiling in his conservative kitchen right now as this continues to give the anti-poker law makers fodder for their "justice" cannons. We are trying to sell them this game of skill and ethics but one of the most popular sites continues to show deception and inwardness, not taking responsibility till long after or denying altogether, and going as far as protecting the individuals responsible for this devastation. As we go into the new year with hopes of a new presidency in the united states having a favourable outlook on poker and online gaming, we are giving them every reason to distance themselves from this shady looking passtime, which without this ONE network would be a very stable, reliable, and safe online atmosphere, with basically no other scandals at any major, or even minor sites for that matter. Please join me in boycotting this Cereus cancer of a site before it spreads further and kills this game i love.

Click on my profile and look at my last three weeks. After you do that tell me with a straight face how crooked UB is please :) Some rougue employees abused the system without a doubt. This place is definitely on the up and up now and frankly there has never been a better time to play there as they are clearly kissing ass to get their players back! Checks to your door (that don't even bounce) in three buisness days, live chat with real support people, great bonuses etc. Management is not dumb at UB, they were given the gift of making free money by having a poker site, of course they will do everything in their power so they can continue to quite literally print money.

Sorry, but I LOVE the cash games on there. They got busted and they are trying to re-build a solid reputation now and they are getting better each day. Your slander is pointless. Please remove this thread.

I know there have been alot of threads on the subject, but I'm still really conflicted.
I played 2-5 tournies on UB since the scandal broke but that's it, and I havent played in over a month. Having said that I see a bunch of people I know and respect (including people that got cheated themselves) playing there. Like most everyone, i play poker for the money, so not playing UB/AP is really giving up a bunch of equity.

I'm torn and easily convinced one way or another, please advise me.

The ownership/mgmt issue is still a ques mark in many peoples minds. You may not realize that the cheating continued after this supposed new ownership was in place only when it was proven beyond doubt by players was the cheating finally admitted too.

to the owners of cereus poker aka ub /ap read my SN, we are all done with your bs sites.

yep, during the whole process they proved to us all that they were very dishonest and had no intentions of admitting guilt until they had no choice. i bet they know of other super user accts that never were made public or paid back, i just dont think they were always so obv about it.

lol at still playing on a UB network, especially with what just happened in the hellmuth hand. The software is shit, they cheated you, they lied about it, you still play there....wow

im broke and would love to play on those soft sites to reduce variance but my soul isnt for sell. even though stars rng is probably rigged, and ftp shits on me everytime i get deep, at least they (probably dont) steal/cheat their customers, so ill stick to playing the toughest tourneys online.

maybe im extra bitter because i was cheating out of 10k+ on UB (and never compensated) and probably induced a butterfly effect for my poker life to go to shit

My christmas wish is for UB/AP to get closed down, taking with them every single cent of every player's money, then have those players on the FBI list/sumshit-like-that for having association with such a shady business.
