    So Elky just did some publicity stunt where he set the record for number of sit and goes played in an hour, and just because I think it is the stupidest record and even stupider that they decided to publicize it by doing it front of a live audience, I think it would be really funny if Boku decided to log on and take an hour to demolish elky's record before they are even done publicizing elky's record setting performance.

    What were the conditions of Elky's record? Were they all Sit N go's 9 man, 6man, 18, 45, 180s???

    I don't know if there were any conditions. All he did was 9 man 6.50 turbos. But it didn't really sound like there were any restrictions on the record other than needing to turn a profit. And it was unclear whether the tournaments had to finish within the hour or whether they just had to all start within one hour.

    while im sure boku could beat the record (along with atleast several other sng players)...keep in mind what boku did was quite different than what elky did. megatabling 45mans is MUCH easier than megatbling 9 mans

    fwiw I easily played 50 9-man S&G's at once on a laptop a couple months ago and turned a profit. Give me a comp w/ some power and I could easily do more.

    I think he set the bar real low. Not only that, according to him in the cardplayer interview he had people in the audience telling him what tables needed action.

    Comparable to a 14.3 second 100 metre dash. I can't do it but so many people can.

    I think the reason it was such a big to-do is that a Guinness rep was there. Agreed would love to see someone crush that, but I believe someone from Guiness has to be there to make it official, right?
