    Got this for fathers day and read it. Wow. Could not put it down.
    Cliff notes on some stuff that stood out.

    Supposed close friends took advantage of him when he was at his lowest moments and talked him into doing Extasy, Meth and then Coke.

    Details and stories while in jail and if he's telling the truth about how he ended up in jail then how the hell is that not entrapment?

    Flew to Paris with a bag of Meth on him. WTF?

    Russ Hamilton really screwed him over and stole over a million dollars from him.

    I never knew about the Scotty Nguynn backing story until I read the book.

    Anyways, great book and would recommend it to anyone. I really hope he stays away from drugs and continues his medication for his BiPolar and ADHD issues.
    Kudos to the friends that showed up to see him in jail. Daniel, Antonio,Ted Forrest, Howard Lederer and David Gray. I could be missing someone.

    It is a very good read although I could have done without the stories of him having sex with strippers. Not a mental picture you want to have even if for a few seconds after reading those parts.

    Yeah I found these parts to be a little weird and uncomfortable. I mean he is obviously trying to come off as cool, but winning big poker tourneys and killing the limit cash games, having huge parties with porn stars, etc you would expect that attention from strippers/gold diggers to come with the territory and it would be no big thing. I mean, would you want your family/friends reading about stuff like that?

    I picked this up the other day, thought it would be a good read and I wasnt let down. Mikes always had a big attitude at the table (judging by the clips aired on TV) but hes a great character and after seeing his bustout interview last wsop where he was really upset made me see the different side of him which the book portrays very well. In response to the posts above, tbh i prefer him including further details like strippers etc it paints a better picture when you know a fuller story. I think there couldve been more detail added in but once I started reading I couldnt put it down. Excellent read would recommend. Was planning on reading it on the plane to vegas though, looks like I'm gna have to find somthing else...

    Just got it in the mail this morning, read like half of it sitting on the pot. Good read thus far, would recommend it to anyone.
