    I'm bored this afternoon and decide to see what's going on at the RIO. I find out there's a $550 nightly tourney at 7 pm. I had planned on playing a mega satty at the bellagio at 10 pm, but the structure of this 550 was so bad I figured I'd either have a stack or be out in time to play it.
    I buy into the thing and it draws 108 players and a 15.7k 1st prize, 18 places paid.
    With 20 players left I raise-call a shove with AK and lose to JJ. This leaves me with two black 100 chips with 500/1000 blinds and a 100 ante. There is a dealer change before the next hand and the new dealer is sexy (pretty sure not just 'poker hot'). I make eye contact and jokingly say, 'if i come back to win this you have to let me take you to dinner'. She smiles/blushes and says maybe. There are 216,000 chips in play and I have 200 of them.
    Next hand i get in Q9dd against an A4 and a K4 and win. Up to 1000. Next hand A8 holds against A3 in a multiway pot and i'm above 4000. I end up chipping up more and winning the damn tournament while the sexy dealer is dealing the heads-up match.
    Ship the digits and 15k LOL!

    Wow! nice win.
    Similar thing happened to be at the Caesars noon tourney about 6 mths ago. There was a very hot Canadian girl sitting next to me when we were down to 3 tables. We started some small talk (found out she was just there with her Dad and brother) and I told her if I win this we are gonna go out and celebrate. She ended up getting 13th but she just stood behind/next to me for the rest of the tourney. We celebrated together every time I busted someone etc. So... I take it down 1st hand of HU. She gives me a big hug and says, " Ok, I gatta go, see ya!"

    I'm like WTF?!! as she is walking away. Why would she stay this whole time only to leave. Still a mystery but I didnt care too much since the adreniline was still pumpin from the take down.

    You missed out. She hung around to see if you were serious or just talking. You are suppose to STOP her and say, ok, now it's time for me to pay up. You missed out. You should have asked her her phone number so you could make good on your offer.

    I was praying that old %#@^ didn't suck out on you to win that thing. Still can't believe the play he made when he tabled the 56o that cost me a couple grand. Anyway, very well played. Congrats!
