  1. i am in a 33$ entry satelite for 500 $ entry to conquest tournament on paradise poker.
4 spots pay entry and i am down to 6 people
    my table has 15k --10k and i have 5.3k
    other table has 15k-- 3.5 and 4.5k
the guy with 15k then says he does not want to win and starts telling the other two his hands while raisng and then dumping his chips to them. needless to say this makes it near impossible to play against 2 bigger stacks with blinds at 300-600 while the other two are getting free blinds and chips. so yes i go out 6th and the other two get the seat.
    what ya think???
i feel cheated out of a chance to fairly win the seat.
  2. I think I'd contact customer service at Paradise, ask them to look at the chat in the two tables, and take appropriate action if it goes against their rules. I know other poker sites prohibit anyone telling their hands at the table......GOOD LUCK
  3. exactly. call them or email them and tell them which tourney you played. once they review the chat history and its what you said, i am sure they will take some action. its definitely against the rules to chat and tell what cards you hold to someone else. i'd be pissed to say the least.
  4. That's absolutely unethical and, IMO, definitely a dump. Now, how could Paradise fix this?

    1) Boot the guy who did it. That's a no-brainer.
    2) If there's any history between the guy and the people who benefitted from his raise/folds, boot them too. I'll assume there wasn't anything weird going on with the people getting his chips, was there? Did they act friendly before?
    3) Now, the big question...how do you assign the seats to the $500? How about restarting the game with the 6 players left, reset the chip counts to where they were. The big stack still has 15k, only he is sitting out (he's booted) and his chips just slowly fall into play as he's blinded away.

I'm not a huge fan of #3, since whomever gets to act before him every time now has an advanage when they're the blinds. But I can't think of a better way to do it.

    Sucks, polariss...I'm feeling for ya.

  5. a better way to do it is just take the seat AWAY from the chip dumper and give it to this guy. Or just pony up the $500 in the name of whats right.

  6. thanks i e-mailed them explaining what happened but havent heard back.
does paradise have a phone# i looked but wasnt able to find it.

grapsfan im not sure how they were speaking at the table prior as i had just opened it up to view at that moment.

but yes truly sucks cause the blinds were just so damn hi.

    txs guys

  7. Its going to be tough, Im not sure what they could do to the two that were picking up the chips, I dont see as how they did anything wrong. Now if they commented back and were asking his cards then they may be able to do something, If they never replied then it was just their good Fortune.

The guy dumping the chips should Definantly be banned. I dont see how any of this helps you though
  8. lol, when the final table started one guy actually explained to the new guys that he was dumping and not lying about the strength of his hands.

its just crazy someone would spend 33$ on a satelite that doesnt want to win. if he wanted money why not play sngs
