  1. Don't have any solid proof.....first hand of sit n go..I know it's small stakes but all the same...cheating is cheating...I have never accused anyone of this but everyone else protested before I said even had time to realize ( was chatting on the phone with my g/f)....this seems just incomprehensible, even for a fish

  2. There is absolutely no sign of colluding here. The guy decided to donk it up with 29 and ran into a big hand.

I can't even see what advantage there would be for 2 players to play a SNG and dump their chips to each other first hand.

    Take off your hat.
  3. You had me at

    Don't have any solid proof
  4. kidding me? just donkeys
  5. Why in the hell would someone chip dump on the first hand of a SNG?

If that's the case, then GOOD! It's much easier to beat one person with double chips than two people with average chips working together

  6. nocatch is a total donk i played with him prior and seen worse beleive it or not
just next time watch for your chance to double up early before someone elsedoes
  7. chip dumping at any point of a sng is -ev. please tell me one situation where its positive ev to dump to someone else in a sng if you are working together. only spot where it could even be argued even slightly would be 5 handed, both have less than 700 chips and all other players above 3k, then you can argue that if you dump your chips to the other guy he has a realistic shot at making the money while alone you will both probably be picked off unless you win two all ins when you will have to be pushing marginal hands.

Now in a mtt where you are both in the money already and one player is on a short stack and likely to go out soon anyways, since the pay increases are so small at the levels outside the final table it could definitely pay off to say dump your chips to an avg stack who is a friend with say 20 or so people left if you are 1/3 avg or so. but even then its definitel argueable.

Chip dumping 1st hand of a sng is definitely the worst spot to do so, even if you get 5k when its 7 handed in a sng it doesn't even guarantee the money, let alone winning the whole thing. you would be much better off just coluding the whole time and both being in near the end so you can take each others blinds to stay alive.
  8. If the guy calls I might see it, but he shoved on a bluff. I dont see it here.
  9. Like I said, I wasn't accusing him, I was just a bit curoius at what you guys thought about it. The advantage in low stakes sit n go's from my experience, is the ability to play more marginal hands and try to gain even more chips and crack better hands in multi way pots, which is exactly what happened, I know it's not a huge advantage, but in low stakes it can be from just my personal experience. For the record, he finished 3rd, me second, and gr 1st. Probably doesn't help much at all. Maybe I'm naive, but having twice as many chips as your opponents after the first hand seems like at worst a slight advantage...Anyway, thanks for the input....I have never seemed something so bad, even on party..

Hey lucky, doing a lot of calculus lately (sine?)...;-)

  12. In general, yes, haaving more chips than your opponents

    BUT

Having two players WORKING TOGETHER with the same number of chips as their opponents is a bigger advantage than a sinle player with double chips

  13. The only thing he is guilty of his making a move at the wrong time. Other than that he did nothing wrong. He was trying to represent the boat, but the guy unfortunately had a boat of his own.
  14. you should have called, how can you fold 2,6???
