played in event# 16 $120 with 166 entrants Tuesday Night. First was $4,466 and top 21 got paid. Needless to say i was out within the first 30 minutes. 25/50 blinds with 3k starting stack first lvl. I raised to 150 on buttton with AK. BB called with 2d7d. Flop 2-7-A. Both got it in on the flop and gg me. Brother is newer to poker and made the FT in 8th. I managed to make a decent profit playing table games the next day since i brought my wife and we stayed in the Tower. (Great Hotel BTW). I will venture up there next week and play some more. ALso, everything said in this post is spot on. I originally went to the poker room to get my tourny ticket that i pre-bought online and the choctaw staff was very rude and sent me to the box office gift shop to obtain my ticket. I then went to the gift shop and they laughed and said that there is a Center Stage area designated for the tournies and i could pick up my ticket there. The WSOP staff was awesome though. The only thing that i saw that is debatable is the dealers. Some dealers let some of the players cuss and use their phones at the table: others were very strict and giving out warnings.

anyone playing the 2-7/ plo ? -
Anyone playing in the 550 2 day event at noon this Saturday ? I'll be there.
The two events I've played, the floor stated that cell phones were fine for texting, but calls had to be made away from the table. However I do agree the dealers were very lax on enforciing the rules. I saw people fold out of turn often and were never even warned about it.Originally Posted by UNeed2Learn

Brag/anti-brag: Played today's PLO event and FT'd it. Got a $50 voucher to use for next Friday's super satty to the Main. Because of work conflicts, not planning on going back for any more events, though, so if anyone around Dallas wants a voucher, I'll sell it to ya for a discount.

I agree, the staff was a bit rude, but for the most part the dealers were okay. I played most of the day with an older gent who constatly would slowroll his blinds. he was never penalized. i got fed up and started refusing to act until the dealer forced him to put his blinds out.Subsequently, he ended up busting deep in th tourney after he lost 3/4 his stack when he mucked the NUT FLUSH bc he couldnt see the cards !!! lmao ( he thought they were clubs the whole time and folded, only to stand up and demand his cards back since he couldnt see!)

Well my AA < J8 when Choctaw Justin made a straight on the turn and I had 4 to the flush, he shoved and I go home now. Oh well, still a good run for me. Look forward to next year.
