    Have you guys noticed a significant increase in the min. raising from EP since the FTP book came out?

    In it, Ferguson teaches to raise 2x the BB in EP, 3x in MP and 4x in LP.

    It seems like everybody is 2x it now when opening from EP. Have you noticed this too?

    as for OP, I have noticed more 2x and 2.5x raises lately (v. standard 3BB's). Haven't read Ferguson's book.

    Strangely enough, yes I have noticed. I always am suspicious it is AA-JJ when they min-raise early, so maybe it's time to way broaden the ranges if this is case.

    I've seen the min-raise a lot more in the past couple months, but it seems to come from all positions, not necesarily only in EP. I've seen it a lot in late position as well.

    min-raises used to make me want to punch babies....but now i am starting to think that better players will re-evaluate even more against a min-raise, and therefor give your hand more respect. donkology thinking or an attempt at leveling????

    Alot players who min raise I see as habitual min raisers.

    Ocaasionally I get caught sombody min raises and I get sucked in with a hand like 89s and I get top pair or a draw and they'be got the overpair.

    But for the most part I'm treating the min raise like I woul any other raise, I'm reraising with my big hands and folding almost everything else. If we are both deepstacked and obv I have position I may call with some suited connector, small and medium PP.
