  1. can anyone give me their opinion on this movie? is it worth renting?
  2. Saw this when I was a kid, and just watched it again today. A truly classic movie. Steve McQueen (the Kid), Edward G. Robinson (the Man), a young and sexy Ann Margaret. Lots of poker hands with the classic showdown- "Sometimes it pays to make the wrong move at the right time". Must see movie for any poker afficionado.
  3. Funny you should mention this. I watched this last night for the first time. I really enjoyed it and although its a little dated, it is still a brilliant film!

  4. i saw it at Wal-Mart.. it had a sticker on the front that said "Best poker Movie of all time!"
    haha

  5. Don't rent it!
    BUY IT!

    Great movie!
  6. Yep

I also watched it yesterday. Its very good
  7. Except for the fact that they're playing 5 card stud (who the hell could play that game?), it's a fantastic poker movie, and just a great, well-made poker movie period. Who's cooler than Rip Torn and Steve McQueen? Answer: no one.
