  1. Never have been declined before with my MasterCard Citizens bank checking account until today......anyone else now having problems depositing from citizens bank?

    thanks

  2. Its getting closer to the deadline (or maybe it passed) when the new UIGA directs banks to take steps to ensure that their customers cant move funds to or from online gambling websites.

  3. Probably not this but maybe you exceded your daily spending limit.

*I used my card on FTP a few days ago.
  4. What method did you use to deposit? Echecks? What was the amount of the deposit? Did they just send the money back to stars?
  5. I have a master card thats connected to my citizens account....it has nothing to do with the limit....I even tried to make a $10 deposit....

Citizens might have finally turned down these transactions....Im very aware of the UIEGA and was still a little dumbfounded that citizens has let it go this long....Ill try to find someone else at citizens and trouble shoot it....

  6. Yeah I am equally surprised every time my card works...GL
  7. you know what's weird? None of my cards EVER worked on PS or FTP. Now all of a sudden, Echecks breezed right thru and i tried a small deposit on FTP with my Target Visa card and worked right away. Go figure
  8. Something has changed, I can't deposit on stars or FT using a visa and a MC that i've used before. I've used prepaid gift cards before on both sites now they won't even work, this really sux. It's too hard to get money on a site anymore.
  9. huh? it's very easy.... used my visa check card on stars the other day and it was the first time I have tried to deposit in well over a year... also, stars lets me deposit straight from my checking account now

  12. The problem lies with mastercard, get a bank with visa and set it up thru them
  13. Exactly.....you have been using Mastercard??? They stopped gambling transactions back during the Paypal thing 2 or 3 yrs ago..........
  14. lol, I have used mastercard for 99% of my deposits on FTP & pokerstars since i started playing in July of 2005 (including today). Get an account with a small local bank, and they will not have any type of block.
  15. I used mine last night around ten thirty.
  16. My MasterCard works at a lot of sites but not stars. MasterCard has always been spotty with online sites.

    MoneyGram FTW!
  17. Steve,

I have a Citizens debit Mastercard that has always worked and I just tried it out on tilt and got denied for the first time ever. It was working like 2 weeks ago when I last did it. Don't know if this has anything to do with being in Massachusetts, I'm assuming its more national and more people might start complaining of this... this is definitely not good news unless it's a temporary error with Mastercard/Citizens

  18. I have never been allowed to use my visa debit card through national city bank.....

    Western union
  19. Just had my dad try and he was denied as well with citizens....this suks! Everyone before today that had success I would try the minimum on stars $10 to see if it changed for a lot of others just in the last 24hrs

  20. Have the banks cracked down on depositing checks from the any sites? Anyone deposited any checks from stars recently?
  21. The UIEGA applies to Credit/Debit cards only.....Your bank has no reason not to accept a
paper check from a gambling site. They may not because they dont actually know the law.
But they are not bound to examine chks or e-chks by the recent law..
