Clearing the UB Bonus

    I understand that many of you dispise Ultimate Bet, but free money is free money. What is the lowest stakes you can play to clear this bonus in a timely fashion? And, also, how can you clear this while putting yourself at minimal risk?

    Basically we need to know how much you have and how much you are trying to clear and if your any good.
    If your playing cash the problem on that site is you only get UB pts for hands you actually put money in the pot. WHich really sucks. I spent the month of Feb clearing a 135 bonus on that site with a 200 BR. 10 Tabling .50/1 limit.. I played about 20K hands and lost a grand total of 14 bucks.. But I dont have any bonus dollars on that site anymore..

    I guess you might be able to clear it if you have say a 1K BR and your playing 50NL at the bad beat tables.. They fill fast.. The players stink so you may be able to put in the volume and hopfully dont run bad. But in general its really not worth it there to clear a bonus.. Unless you have rakeback maybe.. I got my account retagged there with RB.

    Yeah, that does suck. I'm planning to deposit $1000 to qualify for the maximum bonus of $1100 and do what you did. But, I may have to figure out another plan. I'm basically playing on UB to take advantage of the 10 cent Steps SNG's. Maybe that should be the plan if you can clear the bonus with the Steps SNG entry fees.

    huh? you will only have 10,000 buyins at level. i think this is a little risky. maybe you should read fox' bankroll article so you don't go busto.

    It will take you a very long time to do it.. Im just saying.1000 bucks is 20 buy ins at 50NL. Its kinda aggressive but since you can only ten table you should be ok. Plus with rakeback youll make some money. Another drawback is they release the bonus a little at a time. So you honestly wont even notice it. ITs not like stars where the whole bonus when they have them hits your account all at once.

    Im not saying to not play there. Cause I do and its not a terrible site despite its history. But the bonus/VIP program is very sub par compared to Stars/FTP.. I made LEgendary Status for the month and really didnt do anything for me. Wow so you get 4X UB pts. ANd what are they good for? Convert 8000 of them into 35 dollars cash? Meh. IM pretty confident I could turn 8000 Stars pts into alot more cash/T Dollars.
