    Why is she popular?

    I haven't seen her do anything in the poker world except be in Full Tilt ads and play in some invitation 'made-for-TV' tournaments.

    for her age, she's not bad looking. alot of middle-aged people look at her prolly think "mmmmm...." and altho she's not an AMAZING player, she is better than avg.

    Even by her own estiamations she never claims to be an excellent tourney poker player, but she is very formidable on the cash tables I can tell you that. She also happens to be one of the nicest people in all of poker and routinely goes well out of her way to help others.

    Is this some kind of joke? I have dealt to her about 10 times and she can't even beat 2-5nl. She is terrible!

    She was Ms. OKLAHOMA... If a woman has "most of her teeth", can stand up straight without having her eye's cross and make 2 complete sentences that include the words Bubba, Aunt Jo or Cousin Betty Sue, then she's a lock to be successful in that state. She's average for her age in looks and is very close to Chris Ferguson... Pretty sure that has something to do with her longevity at FTP.

    as far as a poker player goes, she may have been better than average before the boom but now is no better than average.

    I hung out with her in wales for a tourney... she is an awesome person, great poker player...whether or not some poker dealer saw her go to an ATM at a casino isn't really enough to gauge a person.

    I don't know how much she makes as compared to other pros, but she is a professional and paid well to play a game we all love. Couple that with being a really nice person and easy on the eyes...

    WHY THE HATE?

    No hate from me. She was a nobody before aruba. She didn't win it. But after that she was part of full tilt.

    How does an unknown local Dallas player go from obscurity to Full Tilt team member without winning anything?

    I'm happy to see some Dallas players get some notoriety, there are some great players here.

    she was friends with Robert Williamson during the poker boom - hence she was included in many of the facets of poker promotions.

    she did win a ladies wpt event which i think consisted of 7 or 8 players - total.

    and as far as crack and or meth goes...well look at her nose when she isnt on television...

    It's like a decent looking chick is at a party full of bitches that you normally see at the sunday buffet. She always looks that much better. Clonie looks so much better because you compare her to the "women of poker". That's not really a shot because I think Clonie is good looking, but if you compare her to other women poker players makes her look different then comparing her to a lineup of hawaiin tropic girls ya know.

    -above agerage looking at times
    -not so much other times
    -not a great poker player
    -very original poker writer
