  1. I'm watching CNN and the anchor girl just mentioned that despite the recent anti-internet gambling legislation, a whole lot of US players haven't shown any willingness to give it up... (wow, imagine that?!)... at any rate, they're going to have some kind of story on the situation in the next hour or so...

Might be interesting, probably depressing, but I like the idea of this situation getting some airtime on a national tv news show....maybe it will prompt a few call-in responses or emails from the "interested public" (that's YOU) as to how unfair this new legislation is and how it takes away yet more freedom from the citizens of this formerly great country.

By the way, whatever they say, I'll try to update this post with whatever is said. 2Slick

Turns out they only were referring to those who place bets on the Superbowl every year.... apparently some bookies are taking the bets on-line but collecting the bet money in person... lol... who cares?

  4. that was funny they talk about sports betting and the first site they show is stars which does not have sports betting

    do some research LOL
  5. Was that it?!?! Pretty lame they talk about illegal superbowl wagering while showing screenshots from pokersites too.

  6. that has to be the least researched story ever (except for the whole WMD). These media people are morons. What was her source. Vito on the corner
  7. I liked the case they made for the effectiveness of prohibition; in the US sports betting is only legal in Nevada and last year 95 million was bet legally on the Super Bowl. Outside of Vegas, US Super Bowl Wagers last year totaled nearly 6 billion.

Those stellar results demonstrate clearly that prohibition works!
  8. They spent more time addressing the "cat washing machine".

  9. lol

CNN is worthless in every respect. That isn't news though
