  1. When registering you will notice almost the same 6 players are on all the other tables at a certain stake. While playing, you can tell most are solid players. They know when someone has to fold due to a smaller stack at the table, being pot committed especially when having a huge stack with 6 left. But, when it comes deep against each other they make such insane folds and you laugh like no way they fold that to me. They are way too smart of a player to fold that.

For example: 6 way blinds 200/400.... bb has 5 k in chips, sb has 635.. he pushes all in.. bb has 235 chips more to end the game, but folds to a regular (friend possibly). One of many examples I have seen, that makes me think a lot of collusion goes on. I'd bet most of the players have AIM or MSN and lick their chops when they see a none regular sit at the table. Impossible to beat solid players that help each other out consistantly if at all.

  2. I'll give you some of my thoughts, since i've grinded these for the past year and a bit since Stars came out with these. Not sure of the $ level you're playing at.

I'm not exactly sure, but pokerstars will find the players colluding as i have had over 20 credits back to my account where they have found 2 players colluding.

I play up to 40 at one time and many times there are many regulars seated at many of my same tables, and i can't speak for others but since we have so much action going on that on many occasions i fold crappy hands even for maybe 100 or 200 more chips when i've been in the blind for 300 or 400. Sometimes i have so many chips, i just fold to the $ and don't will let the others bust themselves. Every chip can be valuable so i will fold crap hands on bubble even for a few more chips.

Sometimes pot-committed doesn't mean much in DON's compared to a regular tourney or cash-game. If i have 5000 chips i may fold no matter what and there are also many times when i should call, but because of too much action at a particular time, i accidently fold.

As sick as this sounds i have folded AA and KK too many times to count, just because of a mislclick.

Keep up the faith as i believe if 2 regs are colluding then Pokerstars will catch them.

    Gluck to you.
  3. Thanks for your response, I totally can see that point of view as well.

But, do you ever think during bubble time, I can help out this regular and bubble the non reg. and maybe he will return the favor in the future? I haven't played enough to figure it out completely, but for all the poker I've played in my life, things seem sketchy in those.

do you mind if I ask what kind of swings you go on playing so many?

  4. All of these grinders are playing a ton of tables, is it possible he just clicked check/fold when he saw his hand and moved on to a new table?

    this is possible
it alwys happens on accident, playing 15+ tables, see 62o and an option to call or fold, instinct says fold, then u just realize what u did

  6. Ive grinded my fair share of DON's (10k games at varying stakes), and as someone who sees the same regulars all the time, I dont collude with any of them, the simplest answer is the one already mentioned when your 25+ tabling is you hit check fold and then you realize it when its to late, plain and simple. I also know quite a few regs at the $20 level who try to go out of there way to bust other regulars if anything its the opposite.
  7. For me, i never think about helping another out, cause i don't wanna cheat and get my account disabled when i can make $ on these with my own style. Not worth the risk.

Right now on my worst streak ever, barely a profit over the last 2400 games, but usually run at about a 58% win rate playing the regular non-turbos. Not sure what's going on this month, but maybe some really bad variance and obviously running bad. But previously won every month in 2009.
  8. i've done this on many occasions.
