  7. you're 4331:1 to make $100-200K as a professional criminal.

    it's very hard.

    next question?
  8. I can answer this question with aposteriori evidence.
If you can deal with the paranoia - which is not truly paranoia 'cause they are out to get you - something in the 50K-100K range annually as a criminal is "easily" achievable. Of course, that income is usually tax-free. Anything greater than that amount normally requires associates, increased exposure, enhanced risk, etc.
I have yet to exceed $1K net monthly at the poker table. (My biggest actual cash will be the day Neteller gives me back my own money.)
  9. Criminal part=bad idea. Tried and failed miserably. 2 year sentence in state prison after only $2k in profit. GG freedom
  10. As in any endevor, one's intelligence plays a large part in determining whether or not one is successful, mediocre, or a failure.

In poker, you can make a substantial income, a moderate income, or be a bust, depending mostly on your intelligence, with some variation if one has an addiction, and a smaller variation due to luck.

In persuing a criminal career, one can make a substantial income, and if bright enough, have one's occupation remain undetected.
On the other hand, some will make a moderate amount, while usually taking on a fair amount of risk.
The majority are, to put it kindly, idiots, most of which wil be a bust. ( or busted, as is usually the case )

The same senario hold no matter what type of "employment" one persues.

To sum it up, if you've got it, you will be successful at most things you attempt.
If you haven't got it, you will bust out at most things you attempt.
If you are in between, then you are.

    HVD
