    agreed that the new structure is way way better than the old. but the point of changing the structure (at least in my eyes) was not to make for a deeper tourney, but rather to make it more of a flagship event, thus boosting attendance and interest. adding more starting chips would accomplish this. changing the structure so a good player knows it's a better structure and the casual player doens't even notice the change does not accomplish this

    I agree with Gags here.

    I also agree with people asking for the structure to be improved every day, not just on Sundays.

    Perhaps we can fix the structure to every day, and then have Sunday have a 5k start stack?

    All the points made about the structure are good, but I think the best thing stars can do to attract more people is to raise the guarantee.

    TY Bryan and PS once again for this awesome new structure! At the moment is the avg stack 40+ BB deep...

    To make it even more better and bigger, I would agree with gags.. When you would make this tournament a 10K starting stack like the sunday million but keep the same type of structure, % wise (so if you increase the starting stack by ~30%, you increase the structure equally). This won't change the tournament but it will create a more special tournament.

    It would basically feel for most players like they play the sunday million with a big price and player pool, but for 1/4th of the buy-in. You'll please all the ppl who vouched for having a weekly/monthly micro million (the $44 B40 promotion tournament, I don't remember the correct name of the tournament).

    If possible, it would be great to add this tournament structure to all daily, red, tournaments.

    One more thing..

    If stars is calling this a SUNDAY SPECIAL... wouldn't it be even cooler to have a special version of the DEG besides the (structure and) price pool...

    just use the mill structure, call it the half mill or something, and put 500k on it.

    Agreed. I'd rather the mill had the DEG structure than vice versa.

    But...what really needs to be done for the Sunday million:

    DEG structure + 6000 starting chips + antes at start (a la the ftops 2-day event) = winnnnnnnnnnnnnnar!

    It's worth noting, by the way, that the tournament just ended.

    A duration of 13.25 hours with 6,700 people is why this wouldn't be a good replacement for the Million's structure... it'd go much longer with another 3,000 people (and more chips, as well). It'd also go much longer with 5,000 chips instead of 3,000 chips. Some tweaking is in order, I believe, for this tournament.
