    Also, fwiw, a friend of mine was in Vegas during the WSOP FT and after it he said he went out on the piss with Akenhead, and said he's a nice guy and a good laugh. Good player and good bloke! mbn! :)

    ironic really cos fwiw a friend of mine met helppi and bought him a beer, only for the guy to look at it like it had 2 heads when it was bought to him and say something along the lines of "why did u buy me this, i dont like it"...

    i also thought helppi was arrogant and decidedly ungracious in his post match interview.

    so all in all glad akenhead won, proof positive good things happen to good people.

    Have an Akenhead story: Was in a Venetian DS shortly before the ME FT and he walks in and first I see him talking to some people. Next thing I know he's playing in a $230 satty to the next day's $1,050 DS (I think those are the nmbrs-don't quote me). This is the guy who's already collected $1m for his ME FT of course, not to mention a ton in online winnings, and he's playing a satty to get in a $1K!

    Gotta admire his grind ethic--and of course he was wanting to sharpen his live chops before the big show in multiple ways... Pretty funny though and seemed like a nice guy.

    jealous!! i bubbled a 530 sat for seat due to a total retard wanting to play every pot with 15 left (5 get seat) and i got 9th :(. Of course this idiot gets huge chip lead and still wants to play every pot and goes out on the immed bubble 6th....the avg buyin of the players left was around $10 so i was highly disappointed!!

    gl there m8!

    and yea from what iv seen of james he seems like a sound guy.

    lol not only is he a great player his also awesome at pool.

    he used to play on the IPA, and i think he was a pro at that too. although the money in it is shitt, but still multi-talented...cgrats.
