TBH, I thought you had Qx for sure and didn't really have any showdown value once I hit the 8 anyway. Def didn't think u'd be defending my 30bb open with 56s....and the flop was pretty dry which is why I bet low...fwiw, I do that with a lot of what I have with my flop sizing. Didn't know much about you other than opr and that u were on p5s. Shoulda done some quick research :)

There aren't many players in these fields I play that I would be able to outplay/extract value in that spot etc so you have that going for you. LOL. Also, pretty lucky river I suppose. And you minbet opened and I was in bb with a hand that could hit really hard so that's the reasoning behind the flat pre, nothing special.

That chk/call you made with the nut straight on the river was awesome man, it's pretty much the only hand I remember from that final table. Got pretty owned there.
