  1. 2009 WSOP Main Event Champ Joe jcada99 Cada will be on David Letterman tonight (Tuesday). The show airs at 11:35pm ET after the local news. Should be interesting to see how he handles the big spotlight.

  2. Hopefully he plays it better then he did the final table :)
  3. Also Penelope Cruz.

    He is running verrrrrrrrrry good.

  4. Hopefully he uses some of this time to make it known what a good game poker is and how the government is trying to restrict U.S. players from playing and that it isn't gambling like the rest of the casino games are.
  5. A press release I just received said that he's the first poker player on the show in five years, which is pretty impressive.

    who was the last one...moneymaker?
  8. Looks like a June 10th, 2003 show with Moneymaker and Bruce Willis, although that would be six years ago. Quite a combo there...

  10. Hopefully the engineer or someone from the PPA will arm him with some good statements to make.
  11. Please let Greg Raymer/Howard Lederer talk to him before he goes on the show, ONE TIME LEE!
  12. Dave: So Joe, you started playing online poker at what age?
    Joe: well, umm,,,errr,,,17,,,I mean 21
Dave: didn't you say that you have been playing online for a few years now?
Joe: I think playing online poker should be allowed for any person who wants
to play as a form of entertainment.

  14. Seeing Moneymaker on Letterman is what got me into poker.. Hopefully it has the same effect on some people... although I highly doubt it... Also LOL @ Joe talking about poker legislation on the show, it would be nice but will never happen...

Sorry, not trying to be pessimistic but I think this is an entirely different situation... Moneymakers name, history and the fact he beat sammy farha, someone that looked like a classic vegas gambler, all made his story so remarkable... on the other hand Cadas story is entirely opposite but i cant argue that any publicity is good

  22. highly doubt letterman wants cada on there talkin anythin too serious about online poker legislation

    ehhhhhhhhhhhhh ya got any gum?

  23. He seems to have a level head on him. He will represent the poker community well imo.
