Use the bank machine when you cross the border.

everyone i talk to they say they exchange at the casinos
-
if you are intending on play cards u can exchange at the casino and right now the dollar is pretty even but any us bank will convert money for you it just may take a day or two
-
at my canadian bank the amount u can withdrawl depends on your limit set up though your bank
i have taken 1000 out before on rent day :(:(:(:( -
The cheapest place to exchange money is at a Bank. They will do it over the counter without any ID, etc. There are plenty within walking distance. The most expensive place is at the hotels.
Let me know when you go. I'm an hour from there on the Canadian side. If I can make it there I'll buy you a beer. (Casino's can't supply drinks for free in Canada...) -
Just do it at your bank. If you plan on bringing lots, order it a few days in advance.
-
The better ? is why r you going to Canada for vacation?
-
oh sorry im not sure, but i know when they exchange they allways play there, so i dont think they would charge if you played there... not really sure though

Find a Canadian who wants American cash and swap the $$ when you get there. Otherwise, I'd guess a bank is the best bet.
